Chapter 4: Suspicions, Reunion

Baekhyun was dropped off a block away from school. Even though he wad injured by yesterday's fight. He was determined to go undercover. He just wanted this to get over with. He slowly limped his way to school. He was in deep thought as he keep thinking why this undercover thing is relevant to this case.

Just then, someone tapped his shoulder. Following his reflexes, he turned and was about to punched the person. The guy who tapped him raised his hand in defeat and smirked. He said," I see you got good reflexes. I guess I am lucky that you don't point me with a gun."

Baekhyun lowered his hand and said, " The dark skinned mafia son from yesterday. " The guy shoved his hand in his pocket and said," I have a name. Call me Kai." I gave him a fake smile and said," Call me Baekhyun. I am sure that you won't tell anyone about yesterday."

Kai smiled and said," Sure. If I told anyone, my secret will be out too. I guess this is our little secret now." Kai then took out something from his bag and gave it to me. It is an ointment. He continued," My fellow mafia friend got injured in a fight. This will make you feel better." I keep the ointment in my bag and thanked him.

Just then, Chanyeol came and greeted cheerfully, " Good morning! Come one we'll be late for class."

Yeonhee and Sarang just sat on their seats as class began. Mr Hwang, their homeroom teacher, came in and announced," There will be no classes after lunch break. All of you are expected to leave the school immediately."

With that, the teacher left. The students seemed to be questioning about the sudden announcement. Everyone including Yeonhee and Sarang. Sarang muttered to herself," Why is it?? Strange.."

Yeonhee simply replied," Well, I don't know. At least there is no school after lunch." Sarang widen her eyes in shock and said," How did you know?! Did I say it out loud again?!" Yeonhee laughed at her sister's cuteness. She pinched her sister's cheeks while saying," Kinda. Well, I would love to spend the day with you but I have something after this."

Sarang grinned and pushed her sister's hand lightly away from her cheeks. The bell rang and their math teacher came in.

Baekhyun was washing his hands in the boy's restroom. He was then in deep thought. He just asked Chanyeol some questions about the victims and apparently, nothing. According to Chanyeol, they are normal, nothing strange or awkward about them. With that information, he know one thing. The victims are killed unexpectedly. Which means they are not being threatened or anything. They are just been ruthlessly killed by a cold hearted, insane murder.

Just then, someone closed the water tap that Baekhyun was using. Baekhyun realised this. Someone beside him said," Yah, You're staring in the mirror for a long time." He looked beside him and saw Kyungsoo. Baekhyun said," You're in the same class as me." Kyungsoo opened the tap and start to wash his hands as he said," Yea.. What are you thinking about? You seemed distant."

Baekhyun looked down as he replied,"Something.." Kyungsoo closed the tap and said," Well that something must be really stressful." He then began to walk out of the restroom. He stopped at the exit and said," I'm Do Kyungsoo. Ah, thanks to you, Chanyeol didn't distract me in class anymore. I hope that we can get along."

With that, he exit the restroom. Just then, That name began to ring inside Baekhyun's head. That name Do Kyungsoo. Baekhyun looked in the mirror. He keeps staring at his reflection. If it's true that the killer is targeting the top ten students. Then, that guy must be his last target.
