Bree's PoV
"I can't feel my face." I yelled in agony.
Luke gasped. "When you're with me? Bree you can't be saying stuff like that."
I threw a pillow at Luke. "Oh shut up and get our mother you moron."
"Okay chill." He said raising his hands in surrender.
Luke then walked out of the room to go and get her. A couple minutes later my mother ran through the door coming into my room with concern washed all over her face. "Oh my baby what's wrong?" She asked stroking my arm.
I frowned. "I have a really bad head ache and I think I have a fever mum."
"Oh sweetie you are not going to school today, you stay here and I'll get you a thermometer." She then quickly got up and ran out of the room.
"So what are you up too?"
I turned to my doorway to see Bethany and Luke stood there eyebrows raised.
I gave them my best innocent face and pouted. "I have no idea what's going on here my dear sibling but I'm not planning anything, just so you know."
Luke scoffed and folded his arms. "Nice try but we know you're faking it. To get out of doing what, we're not sure about yet but we will find out eventually."
I scoffed and waved them off. "Please, I'm too good for you guys."
"Maybe . . . " Beth started off. " . . . And maybe not."
With that they both left to go to school I presume. Seconds later my mother rushed back into the room and stuck a thermometer into my mouth. "There, keep that in your mouth and I'll check up on you in 2 minutes."
I nodded my head slowly. "Okay mum. I love you." I said making the sign with my hands.
"Awe, I love you too." She cooed before leaving the room.
Soon as she left I took the thermometer out of my mouth. I turned my bedside table lamp on and stuck it under there for a couple of seconds then put it back into my mouth.
This is too easy.

I felt the cool breeze hit my face as I left the house. My mother left for work a few minutes after she came to come and check on me.
She locked both front and back doors which meant I couldn't go through them, so I had to go out of my window as all of the downstairs windows are way too small for me to fit through. I had to climb down the thin pole at the side of my window.
"Shouldn't you be in school?" I jumped in surprise at the voice.
I turned to see Ryder. "Shouldn't you?" I asked folding my arms suspiciously.
The side of his lips tugged upward in a smirk. "I asked you first." He said trying to get on my nerves.
I sighed and just answers him. "I am but I have something I need to do. Now what about you?"
He grinned. "Your brother asked me to skip school to see if you leave the house and if you did, he would find out if you were really sick or not." He announced.
My eyes widened. "What? You actually listened to him."
He shrugged. "He's pretty influencing."
I narrowed my eyes at him. "Well I'm not really sick but I have a good reason to be skipping school."
He eyed me, awaiting for an answer.
I sighed. "I really need to talk to Sofia. She hasn't been answering my calls and hasn't been coming to school."
