Bree's PoV
"Luke, Ryder, Alec can I play?"
I asked them as I walked out into the back-garden.
Luke began to laugh until he realised it wasn't a joke. "Oh . . . . you're being serious huh?"
I nodded. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"
He shrugged, a smirk making it way onto his face. "Just I thought football would be a bit too hard for you."
"Sure you know how to play princess?" Ryder asked throwing an arm around my waist and pulling me closer.
I instantly tried to get out of his grip.
"Do you wanna take that back?"When Ryder finally let me go of me, I took a few steps back mainly because there was a massive smirk on his face.
He slowly raised his hands in defence. "Princess, there's no need to worry."
I scowled. "Yeah, we'll see about that."
The sound of Alec clearing his throat gained our attention. "Bree I think the boys meant that you just ain't cut out for the game . . . no offence."
I folded my arms. "Just because you say no offence doesn't mean I won't be offended plus it's football, I ain't asking you to play with samurai swords."
Luke scoffed. "Yet I think you'd be better at that then football."
I rolled my eyes and shrugged. "Fine, we'll see, pass the ball." I demanded.
Alec scoffed and hugged the ball tight to his body. "Yeah right."
I clenched my fists and scowled. "I said to pass me the ball."
He sighed. "Fine." He then softly rolled the ball and I stopped it with my foot.
I positioned the ball into a place that I was happy with before looking up at the boys. "Crossbar. Watch this."
I then swiftly kicked the ball watching it bounce off the bar and into the net.
The boys looked shocked for a second before condoning themselves.
Ryder cleared his throat. "That was alright, for a beginner."
I smirked. "Fine, I have a proposition."
Luke folded his arms and raised his brows. "What sort of proposition?"
I shrugged. "Your football team against my friends. Whoever loses has to dress up like a cheerleader and run around school singing Cheerleader by OMI."
He shrugged. "Fine we'll play your silly match but don't cry when we beat you."
I put a hand on his shoulder. "I think I'll be alright." I then turned around and walked back into the house.
I'll show them who's boss.

"No way. I'm not doing that." Sofia said abruptly standing up.
I pulled her back down onto my bed. "Sofia, don't be like that."
She rolled her eyes. "Well how do you expect me to react when I find out you signed me up to play against the boys? Last time I checked, I'm not the tallest person, the boys are gonna crush me."
I sighed and waved her off. "You're being dramatic. Is anybody with me?"
I looked at my friends expectantly and grinned when Riley nodded. "I'm with you, I don't mind playing."
