Bree's PoV

"That's why you slept on the couch?"

"Yeah, I wasn't staying in here."

"Do you think they did it?"

"With her clothes on? Don't be stupid."

I groggily open as I heard deep voices when they were fully open they were greeted to the sight of Luke and Liam.

Once I realised what their conversation was about, I screamed and fell out the bed landing on the floor, causing Ryder to wake up in the process. I groaned. "Wow that hurt."

"What's going on?" Ryder complained as he rubbed his eyes and stood up.

"We're talking about the fact you're in bed with my sister." Luke said bluntly.

Ryder eyes widened ever so slowly. "Oh . . . that."

"Can somebody get me off the floor." I asked stretching my hand out.

Liam kindly went to help me but Luke being the idiot he is, stepped in front of him. "Don't help until we get answers."

Ryder rolled his eyes and reached out his hand for support. I gripped onto his large hand as he hurled me up.

He grinned "There you go."

I raised an eyebrow suspiciously. "What are you . . ?"

Before I could finish my sentence a big muscular arm wrapped itself round my waist. "Bree and I are great now. In fact we're awesome." Ryder said chirpily.

I eyed him weirdly but when he nodded slightly as if telling me in a way to keep this up, I couldn't help the curiosity of knowing what he was up to. I decided to play along. I smiled. "Thanks."

He smiled back. "No problem."

Luke gagged. "First they're in bed, and now they're making lovey dovey faces. I don't think I like my best mate and my sister hooking up."

I shoved my brothers shoulder. "We're not 'hooking up'. Can't two people just smile at each other?"

He snorted. "Not when they're named Bree Tomas and Ryder Anders, you two hate each other."

Ryder frowned and stuck his hand out in disagreement. "Hey, hate is a strong word. I prefer the word misunderstood or maybe even dislike."

I forced a smile and nodded slightly. "Yeah, totally what he said."

Liam folded his arms wearily. "Is there something that we should know?"

Ryder waved him off. "No, only the fact that Bree and I have come to a mutual understanding."

Luke turned his attention to me, since he knew he wouldn't be getting a clear  answer out of Ryder. "Bree?"

I sighed. "We've . . . come . . . to . . . new . . . understandings." I practically forcing the words out my mouth. Ryder was definitely a better actor than I was.

"Well, if that's all?" Luke asked eyeing us suspiciously.

I looked at Ryder before answering. "Absolutely, now leave."
