Leanna ran into the garden seeing an old friend "Vaughn!" she runs over to him. Vaughn was Leanna's best friend from the Van Helsing family. He had black hair and ice blue eyes. He often wore clothes that stated he was made of money like suits. He was very attractive and in spite of all the pretty slayer girls fawning over him he secretly loved Leanna but would never tell her. "hey Leanna" Vaughn greeted "nice to see you finally in the college" Leanna laughed "yeah daddy told us the Story of Alera last night" "ah i see come ill take you to the garden" Vaughn suggested. The two went to the garden. The garden was filled with trees and flowers and grassy patches it almost looked like a forest. in the middle of it was an impressive gold and white marble fountain "this is beautiful!" exclaimed Leanna.
"Professor Ravencroft takes pride in his school my dad helped him build this place" Vaughn said proudly "impressive" Leanna said when she noticed a black door with a bat on it so she asked Vaughn about it. "Oh thats the door leading under the school. Under the school is where the demons and devils we slay lurk like vampires, demons werewolves etc never go in there last time one of the slayers went throught that door she was slain multiple bite marks on her throat chest arms legs it was brutal" Vaughn explained and Leanna nodded. The bell rang and everyone cleared out of the garden to get to their classes but Leanna stayed behind. She put her silver dagger under her school uniform skirt and Leanna slipped into the door. The stairs leading down were covered with dry blood and the stench coming from below smelled of darkness and death but she went down anyways curious of what was down there. When she got down to the bottom she saw a dead black forest. Bones of humans littered the ground but Leanna didnt get scared just kept going forwards.
Leanna got quite far when suddenly she heard a sexy sounding voice belonging to a male "Well its rare we find slayer students especially if they are Ravencroft students" out of the mist a pale teenage boy appeared he had green eyes blonde hair and was slim build with a hint of muscle underneath the black button down shirt. Leanna noted he was handsome too handsome to be human "i was just passing through" Leanna said in defense "They all say that "i was just passing through, was sleepwalking" when really all they are is curious and curiousity does kill the cat" A female voice came from the shadows and belonging to a pale girl with silver eyes and black hair. The girl was dressed in a red long dress with a low neckline "please just let me go" Leanna pleaded she knew they were vampires and she knew they were hungry "why should we let you go beautiful we havnt eaten good for a long time those slayers just get smarter every year" The male cooed in Leanna's ear, the vampire leaned into her neck and sniffed "oh how delectable this one is a virgin the freshest and purest of blood"
The vampire girl looked restless appearing to not like that her companion was gonna take the first sip "but i want first bite" "quiet Selena i found her first so i get first bite" Selena crossed her arms and glared at the boy. The male vampire tilted Leanna's head back to expose her throat. He licked his lips and moved his fangs closer to her neck. Leanna was frozen in fear and couldnt move also forgetting her silver dagger. Suddenly the boy screamed in pain and released Leanna who fell to the ground in shock. Leanna saw that his shoulder had been cut open "hey Damien pick on someone your own species" a suave voice said it had a hint of a english accent. Leanna looked up and saw an other boy. He had dark brown hair that flipped down over his eyes which were a honey golden shade. He wore a T- shirt, blue jeans and black runners.
He was very handsome and he was slightly muscular. In his hand was a bloody silver bladed boomerang with celtic markings on it "aww Zeph you always ruin dinner time" complained the boy still clutching his shoulder ""well im the kind of person who would rescue a beautiful butterfly from the web of an evil spider". With nothing more to say the two vampires vanished "its a good thing i arrived when i did you were about to be dinner" the boy said while cleaning off the boomerang then putting it back in its holster on his belt. Leanna drew her dagger from under her skirt remembering about it "stay back" Leanna threatened. The boy looked at her 'could it be?' he thought then he hopped down to the ground in front of her "who are you?" he asked her "why should i tell you?" Leanna asked back "what you just did with the dagger reminds me of a girl i once knew now i can call Selena and Damien back to finish you off or you can tell me your name ensuring youd get back to the top safely" the boy answered
