Leanna, Marcus and Zephyr all walked into the palace to see the Werewolf Elder sitting on the leather chair "Lord Kingsleigh what brings you here?" Zephyr asked quite surprised "oh hello your highnesses and Lady Leanna i hope i wasnt coming at a bad time" Lord Devon told them "oh no your not" Leanna told him "High Prince Marcus your father is gonna be worried about you" Lord Devon told him "i just escaped from the Fallen Star Castle, i dont want to spend my immortality being bossed around by him, i will forever be Marcus Deveraux i was born and raised in this palace no matter what King Asarious thinks" Lord Devon nodded in approval "dont worry, i wont bark to him about this to tell you the truth hes a lousy king"
Aramis walked in and shook hands with Lord Devon "welcome Council Member Kingsleigh you honor the Celtic Moon Pack with your visit" he greeted him, Aramis looked at Marcus Zephyr and Leanna "i see you got your brother and your mate back successful escape attempt im guessing?" "yes dad, although there should be war on that phony king he tried to kill Leanna" Zephyr told him anger in his eyes "we will have to talk about war but your right no one should get away with that" Aramis growled out still angry about what Asarious had done even though he loved Marcus like a real son.
In the study Leanna was curious of the council but was too shy to speak up. Marcus, Zephyr, Aramis and Devon were talking about news which didnt really interest her. "Gentlemen i was wondering if me and her ladyship could talk alone, i can tell she wants to speak with me but is afraid to dont worry she is in safe hands Zephyr" Devon asked them all three of them nodded and walked out of the study leaving Leanna and Lord Devon alone.
"Your eyes are full of questions feel free to ask" Devon mused "i was wondering who are the other council members you are the only one i met" Leanna curiously inquired "well there are 7 members, The vampire elder is none other then Dracula, how the writer of the book got close enough to ask him questions astounds me. The Demon Elder is Lady Fiya Fontaine quite a lovely woman when you get past her appearance my wife and her get along famously. You know who the werewolf elder is already so no need to introduce myself. The Fallen Angel Elder is Lord Bastus Starn he is Death himself quite powerful in his own way. Seanna Trecara is the Mermaid Elder she rarely comes to meetings its usually a palace that connects to the ocean where we have our meetings shes one of the ones who were sad about Alera's death. Oberon is the Fairy Elder, he was made famous from A Midsummers Night Dream not something he was too proud of. Then there is Lord Jualle Pallioni he came from Italy he is the Council Leader he claims to also be a Dragon Elder which i find hard to believe" Lord Devon explained "who were the ones who hoped Alera would be spared?" Leanna asked "well there was me, Seanna and Fiya who were deeply effected by Zephyr's sadness. Oberon, Dracula and Jualle were all 'good riddance' As for Bastus he was angry he didnt get Alera soul due to the spell she had unknowingly cast" Devon told her "spell?" Leanna asked Devon "yes, On the cliff Alera's spirit appeared before Zephyr and promised him one way or another they would be together again we knew she would be coming back some of us rejoiced" Devon smiled softly
"im glad the council isnt all bad some rotten eggs but what can i do about it?" Leanna mused, Zephyr was the only one who came back in with an upset look on his face, his golden eyes troubled "Leanna my love i got some really bad news and i know your not gonna like it"
