A Slayer's Romance

Stories the morning after

 Leanna awoke feeling unbelievably happy like she had gone to heaven and back, somehow she was aware of the arm wrapped around her and the soft breathing of a familiar male, she looked and saw Zephyr sleeping. Leanna smiled thinking he looked like an angel, he was so handsome and he was hers. Hers. A comforting thought in Leanna's mind. Memories from the night came to her as she blushed beet red while she silently giggled. The shaking woke Zephyr up "something funny?" he asked her "no well yes i cant believe we mated" Zephyr smiled "any regrets? i thought it was amazing myself" Leanna shook her head "Elli was right, she told me id feel like this after and she was right, what a feeling this is" Leanna laughed "im happy that you are happy, part of me was wondering if well youd regret doing that last night" Zephyr confessed "nah if i wasnt your true mate i probably would but now you're mine" Leanna snuggled against his chest totally forgetting they werent clothed "and youre mine" Zephyr told her holding Leanna to him, the claim made her shiver with joy.

After a while of embracing the two got dressed after getting their undergarments on. Zephyr picked out a black button down shirt with a pair of black jeans black socks and good old boots. Leanna got dressed in a nice simple summer dress with white sandals. Aramis and Callandra were waiting outside the door smiling as if they were keeping a secret "good morning mother, father" Zephyr greeted "good morning you two, i um hope you slept well last night" Aramis blushed after he said that, Zachary came out rubbing his eyes then looking at Leanna and Zephyr "thanks alot you two could have been a little quieter me and Elli hardly got enough sleep. We thought the zoo was running loose in your room" that comment got Aramis, Cassandra, Leanna and Zephyr blushing like mad, Anna came up to Zachary and hit him across the shoulder "be nice, that was their first time its not like Zeph wasn't complaining when you and Elli mated, we all were, compared to you two they were more quiet" Anna scolded her half-brother that comment had Zachary running back to his room before Elli could wake up

 "i think me and Leanna are just gonna go now" Zephyr said ready to make a run for it with Leanna "just a minute you two, as you know there is a party tonight with all the council and royal werewolf families" Aramis told them "oh right i forgot about the coming out party, let me quess HE'S going to be there right?" Zephyr asked "unfortunatly yes, wait i thought you two shared a bond" Aramis raised his eyebrow "we did until he was taken away by his father for training not a letter not even a secret meeting" Zephyr looked down on the ground "ok ok whats this about who is "he"" Leanna demanded "you kept it from her, well better tell her" Aramis suggested "you asked me yesterday who the boy with blond hair and silver eyes was, here is my answer his name is Marcus Melare the High Prince of the Werewolves and my Half-brother" 

what how can he be your half-brother?" Leanna asked "Remember i told you about how my father was tempted by one of the fates? Well just so happened that Asarious was in love with my mother but knew he couldnt have her for his own. Being married at this point Asarious plotted to take my mother by any means nessesary.

One night while my father was on a hunting trip teaching me and Zack the ropes, Asarious took the form of my father and crept where my mother was sleeping.Now thinking it was my father, the two mated but she soon realized the man who she immediately knew wasnt her husband due to how rough and commanding he was struggled trying to get away screaming for help. His dirty work was done and over with fleeing back to his castle without his wife ever knowing. When we got home, my mother ran into my fathers arms telling him of the horrible crime that was commited. 

 My father was angry and he ordered the wolves to look through the forest for the intruder. While his wolves searched he looked into their bedroom and caught a familar scent. Asarious Melare. He was the one who violated my mother. Hes hated him ever since. We then found out that my mother was pregnant with Asarious's heir. The only reason why he went after my mother is because the doctors had told him Nalia could never produce heirs but still Asarious had a unhealthy love for Callandra which made him do the crime. 9 months had passed and my half brother was born into this world. He was named Marcus Deveraux. Me and Zack hated him a passion because he wasnt really our brother. Me and my twin were 5 at the time." Zephyr explained 

 "what happened next?" Leanna asked "well,what happened is that the years passed and the hate my brother and i felt towards Marcus wasnt there anymore. Instead we treated him as a full brother. We played around, had fun and developed a brotherly bond with him. When Marcus had to get his picture painted by the artist we were playing with him before that got him looking messy. But still the picture was painted which was the one you saw in the hallway" Zephyr smiled remembering "When Marcus was 10 years of age and we were 15,  Asarious came to the castle demanding Marcus go with him. He didnt want to go with his real father since he didnt know him. Guards came and dragged Marcus away from me and Zack. Next thing we both knew Marcus took up the Melare name always commanded by his father to do things." Zephyr finished explaining to Leanna "so thats why you didnt want to talk about it such a bad memory" Zephyr nodded to Leanna
