Leanna smiled at Anna. Leanna that evening asked Aramis if Comet could stay and of course he allowed the stallion to stay in the royal stables. After a delicious meal, Leanna went down to the hallway that led to the rose garden when she came upon a portrait. It was the same blonde boy only a little older. He looked happy one could tell by the eyes they sparkled. His blonde hair was slightly longer and a little messy as if he was playing with a friend.
Leanna smiled and went down to the rose garden. Zephyr was there smiling and leaning against a pillar with a pink and yellow rose in his hand.She laughed and went over to him and Zephyr gave her the rose "how is your stay here?" "its great i wish i saw more of you though" she fake glared at him which got Zephyr to crack up "im sorry i havnt been around much the council is a pain, they know about tomarrow night so its been meetings meetings meetings ever since i got back" He embraced her smiling softly "ok i forgive you this time" Leanna giggled "how did a sweet young thing like you ever get into the slayer training this i don't get" Zephyr wondered but noticed how Leanna tensed "whats the matter?" he looked down at her
"it was because of an incident that happened 11 years ago, we had refused to take up the slayer training we wanted to live in peace" Leanna mumbled into his chest but he could hear perfectly well "you mean you werent slayers from the beginning?" he asked "no we weren't, After my brothers were born i was told that my mother wanted nothing to do with the slayers, she was tired of that world. Of course the Slayer Council didnt like that at all, 600 years of slayer tradition would have been lost forever but they did no action towards my parents for soon i was born. What worried my father and mother is the striking similarities to Alera which i now know why they feared it. Then Dani was born 2 years after me and our lives were perfect until that fateful night 11 years ago that forced us into taking the slayer training" Leanna explained
"what happened that night? please i'd like to know" Zephyr asked, She looked at him and sighed and begun to tell her tale
