So it's Monday today. My first day in my new school. I have a feeling this would be quite hard because I transferred schools in the middle of my senior year, and the school where I was from might have a different curriculum than this school that I was about to attend.

I was seated in my first class and the teacher immediately gave us a seatwork. Come on! There's a new kid here, couldn't they just give a bit of a brief discussion about the topic? It's a good thing I already knew this from my previous school so I started answering it right away.

Yesterday, Connor went to the hospital again at about 10am, the same time that I woke up. He brought Starbucks for me, and told me that he wanted to have breakfast with me. How sweet. We talked for a bit until Cali woke up, and asked for some breakfast, so Connor and I helped her by feeding her or bringing her what she needed. A little bit before lunch, Toby, Riley, and Caleb arrived with 2 guitars, and some lunch from Jimmy John's. Connor's eyes immediately lit up at the sight of the food and began devouring it. The rest of the afternoon was consisted of us, singing while playing the guitar. At about 6pm, Riley, Toby, and Caleb had to go because they have school tomorrow which left Connor and I alone with Cali. I also had school the next day but I waited for my parents to arrive at about 8pm, and Connor offered driving me home. After I got home, I cleaned up a bit and then went to bed because the next day would be my first day in school.

“Ms. Johnson, please put your answer for number 3 on the board.” My Math teacher, Ms. Smith, told me. I really hate this. I hate when you are the new girl in school and all of your teachers' attention are on you. They call you to recite or answer something or introduce yourself in class. I didn't really like attention, let alone speaking in public with hundreds or thousands of eyes staring at me. I also hated that my teacher called me to answer something in my least favorite subject, Math.

I stood up and walked slowly to the blackboard, all eyes on me. I sighed, I guessed I had to give it my best shot. It may not be my best subject but I managed to reach Senior Year without a problem so I guess I could do this.

“Thank you, Miss Johnson. Your answer is actually correct.” My teacher smiled at me and I released a breath that I didn't know I was holding. I was actually relieved that I didn't humiliate myself in my first period of my first day in my new school by giving the wrong answer in Math.

“Nerd.” One of the popular girls said as I passed by her. She has curly blonde hair (surprise, surprise) and green eyes. She could have been prettier if she didn't wear all of those make up on her face or if she at least tried to cover up her body a bit. Some guys around her snickered at her comment.

“Good job. Don't listen to those jerk heads.” My seat mate told me. “I'm Ashley, by the way.”

“Meg” I smiled as I reached for her hand and shook it. “It's nice meeting you.”

“You too! Can I check your schedule?” She asked and I handed it to her. “Oh cool! We have all classes together, except Music; I have Art. Anyway, I think we're gonna be best of friends.” She smiled widely at me. I smiled back at her, adoring her bubbly personality. She has straight jet black hair, that falls until the middle of her back, and hazel green eyes, quite similar to Riley's, then freckles are scattered on her pale cheeks.

At least, I made a friend on my first day; that's one thing I didn't really expect to happen today, considering I'm quite awkward. I had this fear of rejection, I mean who doesn't? I don't like approaching people first, I'd rather have them approach me than the other way around. That way, I know that they would really want to talk to me and not just ignore me.
