“Oh my gosh, Meg! Keep still! You'll get burned!” Jordin said as she made me look straight into the mirror for the nth time in the last hour, and resumed with curling my hair again.

It's been about two weeks since the boys left and I've managed to survive. As Connor promised, we kept in contact. He would call me before and after the show, and made sure that I wake up with a sweet good morning text message and sleep with a Skype call. He really is perfect and so sweet. I have also kept in contact with the other boys through text and they were also constantly asking on how their little angel, Cali, is.

You might be wondering what's happening as of this moment. Jordin and Ashley are in my house because we're preparing for the Seniors' farewell dance which would be happening tonight! And as creative as our school gets, our theme was masquerade. Jordin just finished setting Ashley's hair and she was now doing mine while Ashley did my make up. I'm not that kind of girl who really knows how to fix herself up in formal occasions like this, so I let them do all the magic.

After about half an hour, with 15 minutes to spare, we were done. We looked at each other and admired how beautiful we were. Not to brag or anything but we actually look pretty good even if we're still in our bath robes.

We took turns in changing in the bathroom and helped each other with fixing the zippers and what not. Ashley was wearing a peach strapless dress that ends at the middle of her thigh. The bust part was embroidered with beads in a vintage pattern, she has a thin belt around the waist, and the bottom part of the dress flowed into layers of ruffles, making it puff out a bit. She was accessorizing it with a choker, a gold bangle, and nude pumps. Her black hair, complimenting her dress was put to the side and in perfect soft curls. Her make-up was neutral. Her mask was also black with small details in peach color.

Jordin was also wearing a puffy strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and ends just above her knees. It was also fit in the bust part and it was plain black, but the flowing part from the waist down was baby pink She had on black pumps and her blonde hair was placed in an up-do with some strands falling down it would look messy in a neat way, if that even made sense. She had on a hot pink mask and her make up was smokey black which brought out her bright green eyes. She looked gorgeous.

Lastly, I was also wearing a strapless dress. It was white and blue. It had a bit of that ombre design and I really loved it. The top part was an off-white with some blue beads embroidered as an accent. Then a thick blue ribbon tightly wrapped around my waist and the rest of the dress flowed down up to the middle of my thighs. I had on silver pumps and my mask was blue, matching the ribbon. My hair was in a waterfall braid with the ends curled. For my make up, I requested to Ashley to just put eye liner, mascara, a thin layer of blush and some lip tint. I didn't really wanna go all out since I really had no one to impress. And I felt like if they put a lot of make up on my face and Connor was there to see me, he would ask me to take my make up off.

At exactly 7pm, Nick (Riley's friend, that became our friend too, eventually) came to my house to pick us up. He was Jordin's date. They looked cute with their matching outfits. Nick had on an all black tux and polo with a baby pink neck tie, and they had the exact same color of masks. Ashley and I decided to go stag tonight. Chris won't be able to attend the dance too because he was playing bass for Before You Exit during the tour, and we're gonna meet Tayler in school.

We were in Nick's car, on the way to school when my phone in my clutch vibrated. I didn't bother looking at the caller ID.
