Spy With Wings

Chapter 1

Saiges P.O.V

I get out the cab, looking at the huge house infront of me. I sigh and climb the stairs to the door. I timidly knock and wait.

Minutes pass and the door is opened by a man. I stare at him and notice the blue jeans and white shirt. The tiny grey hairs that blended well with the brown hairs.

"May I help you?" He says as he watches me and my suitcases. "Who are you?

"U-um...Are you Simon Cowell?" He nods slowly, still being cautious of me. "I-Um...I'm Saige Johnson!"

I hold my hand out for him to shake but he just stares at it. I bite my lip and pull out the ten page letter my parents wrote. I hand it to him.

"I-i haven't read it yet!" I swallow hard as he takes it and motions me in so I obey.

"Please...Sit." I nod and sit on the couch as he grabs some glasses and reads the letter. Page after page is turned before he looks up at me. "So you're my step niece?"

I nod. "You married my moms sister and my mom had me making you my step uncle." He smiles.

"I know what it means, Saige, I just never thought you'd fly out here to meet me..." He folds the letter and gives it back.

"I-Uh... Yeah." I smile at him.

"But that letter tells me you should stay, permanently." He says as he stands up and grabs my bags.

"B-but my family! My sister, mom, dad-"

"Are dead..." He finishes the sentence. "We'll fly out there, to where ever you lived, and go to the funeral. For now, follow me to your room."

"I need to go home! I just wanted-"

"I don't care what you wanted, why you wanted it, or anything." He faces me with a deep scowl. "You will follow my rules and listen to me! Do you understand?" I swallow hard and nod. "Good."

I follow him upstairs and bite my lip. I shoulve never came here! Now I can't go back home. He opens the door to a very huge room that held a tv, computer, iPad, and a king sized bed. Some drawers and a walk in closet also.

"I'll let you settle in..." He closes the door and I'm quick to lock it.

Why did I have to come here?...
