A Crazy Complicated Love

Chapter 3

I look at my new room, all set up and finally mine. "Hey Mia, now that this place is ours and we're all set up how about we go out celebrate" Allie says when she walks into my room.

"What should we do?" I ask turning to face her.

"Well why don't we go down to the club, have a few drinks then come back home" she says.

"sounds good let me just get changed" I say.

I pull out a red dress from my new wardrobe and put it on and do my hair and makeup then I find a pair of red heels and grab a coat.

"woah where did that dress come from that's hot" Allie says when I step out of my bedroom.

"I bought it online about a month ago" I say.

"you look like a model" She says.

"thanks Allie but seriously I'm nothing compared to you, you look stunning" I say.

"why thank you, shall we get going?" Allie says as we link arms and head out. We get a taxi to take us to the club.

"okay so I'll introduce you to some of the people you'll be working with" she says.

"oh and I know you love the movie coyote ugly so I better let you know Saturday nights we do a coyote ugly kinda night so you can get up on the bar and dance" She says.

"Are you serious?" I ask her.

"yes and I told Nathan your all for it" She says smirking.

"you didn't oh my god, I'll need a few drinks in me first" I say and we both laugh.

We pull up outside the club and head straight to the front of the line.

"Hey Jake" Allie says to the bouncer.

"Hey Allie" he says.

"Jake this is Mia, she's going to be working here, she's also my best friend" Allie says.

"welcome to the family, babe. It's nice to meet you" He says shaking my hand.

"You too" I say. Allie and me then head inside.

"you know when you get famous and all that you gotta remember all us little people" she yells over the music.

"I will Allie" I yell back.

She pulls me over to the bar and gets us some shots.

"This is Dan, he's one of the bartenders, he'll probably train you up" Allie says.

"HEY DAN!" Allie yells at him.

"Hey Al" he says.

"This is Mia, the girl I told you about" She says.

"Hey I'm Dan, I heard your bit of a dancer" He says.

"Hey and I guess I can be with a few drinks in me" I say.

"well I guess you better get drinking and maybe you can get up on the bar later and show us what you got" He says.

"She will be" Allie says.

"No guarantees actually" I say.

"well it was nice meeting you" Dan says as he walks of to serve a group of lads.

Allie and me down the shots then she leads me out back where a group of workers are sat on break.

"Mia this is Gabby, Claire, Jamie and Tom, guys this is Mia, she's starting on Monday" Allie says.

"we've heard so much about you" Claire says shaking my hand.

"your really hot" Tom says

"thanks" I say awkwardly.

"don't worry he has no filter, nice to meet you" Gabby says.

"Welcome to the team" Jamie says.

"Great now that you've meet most of the staff lets get back to partying" Allie says.

She drags me back into the club where we dance like crazy.

20 shots later and Allie pulls me up on the bar grabbing a mic.

"Everyone this is Mia and she's starting working here on Monday so let's welcome her by getting her to dance up here like she's on coyote ugly to the song cowboy by kid rock" Allie says into the mic.

"are you crazy" I say.

"Oh come on have some fun" Allie says.

"fine" I say, I'm too drunk to let it bother me so much.

The crowd is cheering as the song starts. I go all out making Allie dance with me.

Just as I'm really getting into it I fall of the bar and get caught in a random guys arms.

The crowd goes back to dancing.

"some show you put on up there Mia" The man said.

"Thanks, and thanks for catching me" I say, when I look up at the man I realize who caught me.

"Harrison, oh god, I think I've had a little to much I just went full coyote ugly up there" I say

"yeah you did" he says.

"Mia! Are you okay" Allie says running over to me, Harrison puts me down.

"Uh yea, Harrison caught me" I say feeling a little embarrassed.

"Oh god I cannot believe you actually did that like I was just kidding but you did it" Allie says.

"Wait what" I ask

"we don't actually do coyote ugly night but everyone loved it" she says.

"Oh my god I can't believe I did that" I say.

"well I'll leave you too alone, oh and Harrison, Mia really likes you like she's a huge fan and you should get her number okay bye" Allie says quickly before rushing of.

"well I liked your dancing, you have a lot of confidence" He says.

"thanks" I say.

"so huge fan, I knew you were a fan but a huge fan?" He says.

"uh well I mean in my defense I didn't know I would be meeting you in a club" I say

"well I have to go but it was good seeing you again" he says before quickly leaving.

I go to find Allie.

"How'd it go with Harrison?" she asks.

"not great, I didn't get his number, but can we go home now" I say.

"yeah sure." Allie says and we leave the bar.

When we get back to the apartment I go to my room and shower then put on some pj's before climbing into bed.

I lay there looking at the ceiling, I hope I see Harrison on Monday and something happens.

Then I fall asleep.

I wake up and roll over not wanting to get out of bed. I decide to grab my laptop and just chill in bed today. Allie's probably still asleep.

I open my laptop and go to check twitter, I go on Harrisons, he doesn't tweet much. I then decide to watch a movie.

My phone then begins to ring.

"Hello?" I say into the phone.

"Hey Mia, me, Cassie and Hannah if you and Allie wanted to come shopping tomorrow we'll be in the city." Lily says on the phone.

"sure Lil's" I say.

"great, we'll see you tomorrow then" Lily says.

"Okay, great, bye" I say before hanging up andcontinuing with my movie
