A Crazy Complicated Love

Chapter 14

"So Maddi, how much do you enjoy toy stores?" Harrison asks Maddi as he drives us back to the city.

"Like more than anything else" Maddi says.

"Good because I have a friend at a special toy store and you can have your pick of something" Harrison says.

"We're going to a toy store?" I ask Harrison.

"It's on me, I love spoiling kids" He says.

"You don't have to Harrison" I say.

"It's fine really" He says.

"okay but don't need too spend much" I say.

"Mia, It's okay Maddi can pick whatever she wants I can afford it" He says.

"Alright" I say.

"Harrison, are you staying at Mia's as well?" Maddi asks.

"If you both want me to then I don't see why not" Harrison says.

"Mia can Harrison stay please, please, please" Maddi keeps asking from the back.

"Okay he can stay" I say.

"Yay, Harrison I'm going to do your makeup and do your hair so you can look pretty" Maddi says. Harrison looks shocked then he laughs.

"Maddi that's girl stuff" He says.

"So? Boys can be pretty too" she says.

"You don't think I'm pretty enough already" He says.

"Well not exactly but I can fix it, your cute to my sister but she's a little blind, you look like a bad man sometimes" Maddi says.

"She has a point" I say.

"I don't look like a bad man" Harrison says.

"You're wearing all black Harrison" Maddi says.

"I like this outfit" He says.

"please can I give you a makeover" Maddi questions Harrison till finally he gives in.

"Okay but no one needs to find out about it" He says.

"Yay and okay pinky promise" Maddi says.

"I'll pinky promise you when we get to the toy store" Harrison says.

"Okay" Maddi says.

Soon we get to the toy store, Harrison drives around the back of the store to avoid pap's. We all get out and head inside through the back door that a worker let us in through.
Maddi loved the store and once we were in she was gone making her decision. Harrison and me followed her around keeping an eye on her.

Occasionally Harrison and me would play with the toys too and occasionally he would try to make a dirty joke.

He tells about how he loves kids and he loves meeting his young fans because of how sweet and cute they are.

It's a whole new side to Harrison I'm seeing. He talks about how one day he'd love his own family. Harrison hasn't been able to let anyone into his life, people he loved were getting hurt by his fame so he pushed people closest to him away and now he's finding himself again and slowly I'm falling for him.

I'm soon bought out of my thoughts when a nerf gun bullet hits me. I look over to where it came from to see Harrison holding a nerf gun with Maddi. They have teamed up.

Harrison then comes running over to me.

"So I thought we could buy some nerf guns and then head back to your apartment and have a nerf gun war, what do you think?" he asks.
