Chapter 27

I woke up on harrisons chest in the hospital chair, I looked up and everyone was asleep. I needed to stretch so I got up, Harrison opened his eyes.

"Where are you going?" He asked still sleepy.

"I just need to stretch and use the bathroom" I say, he nods and goes back to sleep.

I walk over to Matt kissing his forehead. "I love you" I say and then I walk out of the room, My friends are all asleep in the chairs, I notice Allie and Nick aren't here.

I walk down the corridor to the bathroom, I hear voices from around the corner. It's Allie and Nick, I move down along the wall towards their voices.

"We can't leave now, but I think we should do it" Allie says.

"I can wait till it's okay to leave but I can't wait to call you officially mine" Nick says.

I think they're going to

"Mia?" Harrison says from behind me. I quickly turn around and see Harrison standing in the corridor.

"what are you doing?" He asks scratching the back of his head.

I hear Allie and Nick coming around the corner so I quickly run to Harrison hugging him taking him by shock.

"It's okay" He says into my hair.

"Oh Mia, Harrison, you guys alright?" Allie says walking hand and hand with Nick.

I turn around.

"Yeah, you know you guys don't have to stick around here, I don't mind if you need to get a way from the hospital" I say looking at them.

"Mia, we're here for you, it's okay" Allie says.

"I don't want you guys being stuck in here, I can call you if anything Happens" I say.

"Do you not want us here?" Allie asks.

"No I do but I just uh I know you guys want to get away and it's okay" I say looking at her.

"You heard us?" She asks.

"Only a little bit" I say.

"so you know why?" Allie asks.

"Not really" I say.

"we can be back in a couple days, but I don't want to go unless you are sure, what about matt" Allie says.

"Don't worry about Matt, I have all the girls and Harrison and my family here" I say.

"But Mia" She says.

"No but's just go it's fine Allie" I say.

Allie hugs me. "Thank you Mia" She says.

"Nick make her happy" I say.

"I will" Nick says hugging us and soon Allie and Nick leave the hospital.

"Where are they going?" Harrison asks.

"I have no idea but they need to get out of here, someones got to be happy right" I say.

Me and Harrison then go down to the café and get something to eat and wonder around the hospital before going back to matts room, All we can do is wait.

A few hours later a doctor comes in.

"His condition hasn't changed, I'm sorry but I don't know if he'll wake up or not, theres a chance he could but at the moment it means is he's in a coma" The doctor says. I start to cry again.

3 days have passed and theres still been no change, Harrison has been here with me most of the time apart from when he's gone to get me new clothes or some food and so on, My parents have gone back to my apartment to get some rest and shower and everything while my friends have all gone home and ocassionally pop back to the hospital making sure someone is always with me.

Hannahs got Maddi with her at the apartment, looking after her for us.

Matt's not improving nor is he getting worse. Some flowers have been dropped of, I open the card it reads:

Dear Mia

I'm sorry and I'm really sorry about your brother please forgive me, I'll always be here for you, even when Harrisons not I'll be here

Riley sent the flowers, I wouldn't have minded if he never added anything about Harrison now it just seems like another dig at Harrison, I tear up the card and take the flowers to the next room giving them to the family in their.

They thank me and then I go back by Matt.

The fans and the media have found out what happened and Harrison told me theres a shrine outside my apartment and a large group of fans outside the hospital showing their support for my brother.

I'm sitting alone with Matt watching him when he moves. I sit up blinking making sure I'm not dreaming, Matt's eyes open and he looks at me.

"Mia" is all he says before his eyes close and the machines begin beeping I hit the button on the wall for the nurses.

"Matt, Matt, Matt please stay with me, Matt" I say over and over again when Nurses and doctors run in, I tell them he opened his eyes and spoke and then I start crying. I'm sent out of the room when Harrison comes running over to me.

"what happened?" He asks.

"He, matt, he spoke and he looked at me" Is all I manage to say before Harrison figures out the rest.

"MIA!" Allie yells running down the corridor to me hugging me.

I keep crying.
