Never Be Alone(A Ninjago Fanfic)

Chapter 2

Misako, Cole and I set off into the 'Destiny's Bounty' for the night.  Misako led us to one of the 5 bedrooms.  This one just so happened to be Cole's room.  When I got inside the room I saw a large bed and 2 big dressers.  When I looked at Cole, he had the 'oh no' look on his face.

​"What's the matter Cole?"

​"Um...this is my room.  Misako did Sensei do this on purpose?"

​"Maybe..."

​"No need to say anymore, it's fine, I don't mind.  Do you mind Kit-Cat?"

​"No I don't mind the room, but why did you call me 'Kit-Cat'?"

​"I just thought a nickname would be cool.  If you don't like it it's ok."

​"I like it, but I just don't think we're at the nickname stage yet."

​"Ok, well, Cat I'll be right back with some pajamas for you to try on, ok?"

​"That sounds great Misako!"  And with that she was gone.  It was just Cole and I.  I had a weird feeling in my stomach that I couldn't explain.  "Cole, I hope you don't mind me asking, but why do you look like a sprit?"

​"Oh, that...well I...I am a sprit."

​"Oh, I'm sorry, how did that happen?"  He went on to explain how he was trapped in a place too long and so on.  I realized that I felt really bad for him.  Then Misako returned.

​"Ok, I have 2 options for you.  Cole, do you mind stepping outside?"

​"Of course not."

​I tried both and decided on a black nightgown that had an off the shoulder look and went down to just below my knees.  I looked dazzling in that dress.

​"Can I come in now?"

​"Yes, I'll be going anyway, I need my sleep and so do you, good night."

​"Wait Misako, where do I sleep?"  Asked Cole?

​"In the bed of course, you 2 are going to have to share.  Good night!"

​I climbed onto my side and Cole got onto his and I tried to sleep.  It was weird how I was feeling.  I only felt this way when I thought about Davis, and when he and I talked this morning.  Then it hit me.

​I love Cole.

​"Cole?"

​"Yeah?"

​"I can't sleep."

​"Do you want me to sleep on the floor?"

​"Of course not, but..."

​"But what?  Do you want me to face you?"

​"Yeah, and..."

​"And you want me to come closer?"

​"Yes please."

​"Ok."  So he flipped over and I realized that he wasn't in his ninja gear anymore.  He was in a pair of shorts without a shirt.  I faced him and scooted closer, as did he.  Our eyes connected and I felt a spark.  Apparently Cole did to, because he pulled me close to him and held me tight.  He gazed into my eyes as if we had known each other forever.  Then he leaned in close and kissed me.  He kissed me harder and harder, while yet being gentile.  I found it hard to resist the urge to kiss him back, so I did.  I let my body take over, and I didn't let my mind do anything but relax and enjoy the intense feelings.

​We were like this for hours, before falling asleep.  My head was on his chest and he had me in a deep embrace, so deep and secure that I forgot about Mordu and the others.  I was mesmerized by his touch, unable to escape his grasp.  He was my weakness.

​When morning came I awoke to find myself the way I was when we fell asleep.  Cole seemed to never weaken his grasp, and I knew why.  He didn't want to loose me.  He awoke a few seconds after me and realized what we had done.  He looked at me and we knew that we didn't regret a single moment.

​'Knock knock!'  "Good morning!  Cat, I have some outfits for you to try for today!"  Said Misako.

​"Ok, just a minute!"  I responded.  I looked down at myself and realized that I was in my underwear and my gown had disappeared.  So had Cole's shorts.  I looked over the side of the bed to see my gown and his shorts.  I grabbed them and we quickly dressed.  I went to the door to let Misako in when Cole grabbed my arm.  "What?"  I mouthed.  He pulled me closer and kissed me again.  Then he let me go.

​"Hello Misako!  How are you?"

​"Fine, fine.  It's good to see you smiling Cat.  You have such a gorgeous smile!"

​"Morning Misako."  Cole said, already dressed.  "I'll see you two in the kitchen."  He said then left.

​"So I have 2 choices for you today!  The first choice is a pink tank top with black jean shorts and the second is a black crop top with a pink skirt.  Which do you like?"

​"Can I mix and match?"

​"Of course!"

​"Well then, the black crop top with the black jean shorts it is."

​"Excellent choice."  Misako helped me to change and then gave me a black leather jacket to go with my outfit and I was all set to go.  "Oh darling you look amazing!  Cole is going to love it!"

​"Oh Misako you flatter me too much!  Thank you so much!  Now what do you mean by 'Cole is going to love it'?"

​"Don't you see the way he looks at you, Cat?  It's obvious that he's into you."

​"Do you really think so?"

​"Yes of course!  You can see it in his eyes."

​"Yeah, those big, beautiful, caring, green eyes."

​"Much like yours.  Can I ask you something?"

​"Yes, why wouldn't you be able to ask me something?"

​"Well, do you love him?"

​That took me by surprise.  "I don't know yet, but maybe."  I was lying to Misako and worse myself, of course I love him.  I'm just afraid to admit it!  I know why I'm afraid, Davis.

​Cole is a sprit, Davis is a sprit, and Carolina is a sprit.  What next, my Mom being a sprit?!  That can't happen and it won't.  Oh why does life have to be so hard!

​"Are you sure you don't know?"  Misako probed.

​"Well...I maybe, kind of sort of, love...Cole.  It's just hard for me to admit that, because of what happened the last time."

​"Well, do you still have feelings for...Davis was it?"

​"His name is Davis, I thought I was over him a long time ago, but then I saw him before I met you guys, and..." A tear rolled down my cheek.

​"Shh...it's ok, I understand, 2 guys, 1 girl.  It'll be ok dear.  Don't cry, we'll get through this.  Will you ever see Davis again?"

​"I don't know, I doubt it.  If I do though, what'll happen?"

​"I can't answer that, or who you are to choose, that's your decision."

​"Ok, do I look alright?"

​"Perfect.  Let's go, fallow me."
