Never Be Alone(A Ninjago Fanfic)

Chapter 6

After a delicious dinner of fried pork chops and wilted spinach with bacon and onions, Wu stood up.

​"If you leave for bed now and don't return for a movie night you will have to wake up at midnight for training.  So go get ready or get some sleep for training."  The old Sensei said bluntly.

​Nya then grabbed my hand and dragged me down the hall to her room.  The ninja all laughed when I shouted "SLOW DOWN NYA, GOSH ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME FACEPLANT!!!!"  Then she threw me inside her room.  I landed on the ground behind her with a thump and shouted, again, "WATCH IT NYA!!  DO NOT GO THROWING YOUR FRIENDS ON THE GROUND!!!!"  All the people at the end of the hallway burst out laughing.

​Nya quickly grabbed a royal purple tank top and black sweats and threw them at me.  Once I had them on she pulled on a pair of blue sweats and a red tank top.  She then threw a purple and black hoodie at my face.  I pulled it on and loved it.  She put on a red and blue hoodie.  We each grabbed a pair of white ankle socks.

​"Nya, why are you doing this?"

​"Doing what?"

​"Letting me borrow these clothes."

​"Cause I knew you would've gone straight for your nightgown and that's not movie night attire."

​"Oh.  This is I'm guessing, and thank you Nya."

​"No problem at all.  Now come here."  She pulled out the ponytail I had my hair in and brushed my hair out.  She left it hanging loose and attended to her hair.  My hair was long in the back, and shorter in the front so my bangs were noticeable.  My bangs were wavy while the rest of my hair was curly, they were an inch below my shoulder.  My hair went halfway down my back, and my bangs hung in my face.  Once Nya finished we started to the door calmly.  Then she and I ran out of the room and to the living room where everyone else was gathered.

​Nya made a grand entrance by strutting in and saying "Sup Bros!"  Then she strutted over to Jay and Cole as I walked up and said "Whaddup?!"  Everyone turned to me, as they did with Nya, they all started with their mouths agape.  My hair was mainly behind my back, but my bangs hung loosely in my face.  Cole and Kai were wide-eyed and speechless, as was everyone else.  Lloyd whistled and said "Wow Cat, those colors look great on you.  You should also wear your hair that way more often, it suits you."  I smiled and responded "Thanks Lloyd.  It was all Nya's doing, she has great taste."

​Then I walked over to Cole, Jay and Nya.  Nya then spoke up, "Aw shucks Cat, you make it sound like I'm the world's best fashion designer."  Nya and I giggled.  Then Kai, Zane and the others said their thoughts, all but Cole.

​There were 2 big chairs that could hold 2 people.  Those chairs had a long seat so the people in the chairs could sit and stretch their legs out, it also had a tall back and arms to purposely make whoever was in there close for a long time.  Nya and Jay took 1, and Cole and I got the other.  Then Zane came around with the popcorn.  When he reached us he said that he liked my hair and walked away.

​As Sensei put the movie in Cole's arm snuck around my shoulders and he pulled me close.  I didn't argue, I rested my head on his shoulders and he put his head on mine.  Then he saw that my bangs were in my face and pulled away and gently brushed them behind my ear.  I smiled, then a familiar song rang out through the room.

​"YAY!  STAR WARS!"  I shouted.  Everyone looked at me.  "What?  Can't a girl like Star Wars?"  I said with attitude.  Then I read the beginning script like I always did with my family.  Jay kept shushing me, but I ignored him.  Then the movie started.  It was Episode IV (4): A New Hope.
