Never Be Alone(A Ninjago Fanfic)

Chapter 3

We walked into the living room to see Cole and the other ninja.  Cole saw me and excused himself.  He came up to me and showered me with compliments.  Then I noticed something.

​"Cole...why aren't you glowing, like last night?"

​"What?  What do you mean?"

​"I mean you don't look like a sprit anymore."

​"What?!  Misako is this true?!"

​"Um...hmm...yes, it's true!  You don't look like a sprit.  Fallow me."  Misako said.  She turned on the water and said, "Now stick your hand under that."

​"Ok."  Cole did as he was told.  His hand went under like normal.  He wasn't a soul anymore!  "I'm not a sprit!  I'm not a sprit!"  He ran around jumping for joy.

​We ate breakfast, then Cole and I went into the kitchen to make a pound cake while the others were watching television.  Then I called everyone in to try my cake, they adored it.  Then while everyone was enjoying the cake I made cookies.  While they were cooking I brought spoons of cookie dough for the ninja and family to try.  They went gaga over the dough.  Then they all went into the living room as I finished up.  Cole stayed while I went and asked who wanted milk with their cookies.  Then I came back to find Cole in a dangerous situation.

​"Cole!  Don't touch that you'll hurt yourself!"  He quickly pulled his head and arm out of the oven.  "You didn't get burned did you?"

​"No, I didn't.  They smell really good though."  I couldn't help but giggle at that.  Then he pulled me close and held me there for a minute.  Then he cupped my chin and kissed me.  I kissed back.  He broke away to get come air and heard Kai coming.  Then he kissed me quickly and we broke apart.  The timer went off, I jumped at the sound.  Then I pulled the cookies out.

​"Can I have a cookie?"  Cole asked.

​"Not unless you want to burn your mouth.  Hello Kai."

​"Hi Cat, Cole.  What's up?"  Asked Kai.

​"Just finishing making cookies.  What are you doing?"

​"Just coming to give my compliments to the chef.  So Cat, do you like it here?"  Kai smirked while staring at me.

​"I like it here.  It's better than where I was.  I love how roomie it is here.  Also how comfortable the beds are."  I glanced at Cole and my cheeks got a little warm.  Kai noticed.  "The cookies should be done by now I'll go see who wants milk with their cookies."  And I left.

​"Kai, what do you want with her?"

​"Cole, I don't want anything with her, I just like her.  Why do you ask, do you like her?"

​"Yes I do happen to like her, a lot."

​"As much as you like cake?"

​"Yes, and I don't like cake I love it, and her."

​"Well we will just have to see who she likes the most.  I think I hear her coming."

​"Well everyone wants milk.  Do ya'll want milk?"

​"Yes I would like milk, and along with my milk I would like you."  Kai said.

​"I'd like milk also Cat."

​"Um...ok.  Kai, do you like me?  Is that why you said that?"  I ask a little offended.

​"Yes, I do like you."

​"Well, ok, what if I said that I don't feel the same way, that we're better off as friends, that I have interest in someone else?"

​"I would understand, but still have feelings for you."

​"Ok, thanks for your honesty Kai."

​"No problem, let me help you with those cookies."

​"Ok, thanks Kai.  Here, Cole here are the rest.  I've got the milk."  We set off, everyone got what he or she wanted and we were happy.  Kai sat next to Nya and Jay, leaving only 1 seat left.  The seat was a bed like chair that could hold 2 people.  Cole and I squeezed into the chair and ate our cookies.  The chair was roomier that I looked, we had enough room that we could've slept there if we didn't have a bed.

​"How were the cookies?"  I asked, and the response was a chorus of 'greats'.  "Good, I'm glad you liked them!  So what's on the agenda for today?"

​"Well, the ninja will train, and I will evaluate your skills."  Responded Sensei Wu.

​"Great, let's go!"  I said and everyone responded with 'fine' or 'ok'.  "Sensei Wu, are we going now or later?"

​"Now.  Come, let's not waste time."  Sensei Wu said and walked away.
