~Imagine~

You and Tom had a huge fall out, words were said, feelings hurt, hearts broken. For two weeks you guys have been in the same building but not a word has been exchanged. You felt guilty for all the words you both said. All of it was a heat of the moment, words of anger, neither of you meant any of it. Anger had gotten the best of both of you. Your mutual friend was having a party tonight that both of you promised to go to. You decide to get ready and show him how you were perfectly fine without him. Though you didn't feel perfectly fine you made sure it wasn't shown in you appearance. You had asked your gay best friend to be your date. Your friend comes to pick you up at 7 pm sharp.
"Y/N, you look hot. If you'd actually date me, I'd turn straight for you," he jokes.
"Thanks, I know I'm life goals," you joke as he takes your hand and leads to the car.
"Let's go blow Tom's mind away," he grins getting into the driver's seat.
-At the party-
You get a seat a few tables away from Tom. Your friend keeps flirting with you the entire time and you can feel Tom's jealous stare on you. You act as if you don't care. Your friend excuses himself to the loo. Tom approaches you. Your breathing hitches, you are not sure you'll be able to keep up the act.
"I'm sorry," he says softly as he takes the seat next to you.
You ignore him, trying to not look in his beautiful eyes.
"Please say something, at least look at me," he says pleading to be heard.
You hesitate before looking at his face. You stare into his eyes, getting lost within them. All the pent up rage slowly diffused. You wanted to apologize but ego holds you back. He slowly leans in, instinctively you lean causing your lips to collide. He pulls you closer, you can feel his jealousy pour through the kiss. All the emotions both of you have been feeling for the past two weeks turning into a passionate kiss. Unfortunately you can't go on without breathing so he pulls away, panting.
"I've been wanting to do that since you left," he says trying to regulate his breathing.
"I'm sorry," you finally let go of your ego.

He was worth much more than your ego. The words of the fight long forgotten, you start talking about the past two weeks and all the lost time. Your friend long forgotten, both of you end up at his house for the night.
