Something felt off, maybe it was the way he kept blowing you off, or the way he was always tired or the way he never held you any more. You didn't want to think it but it was possible. From the way he was always busy running lines with her, so busy he bailed on you on your anniversary dinner. It was like he forgot you, your love, the promises. It was like you meant nothing to him. Many times terrible thoughts came to your head but you trusted him, trusted that he wouldn't hurt you like that. He knew how much it would break you, you reassured yourself all the time but there was the nagging feeling in your heart telling you that it was true. For a long time you shoved those feelings aside, calling yourself insecure and berated yourself for not trusting him.
You decided to let go of those feelings and visit him on set, maybe some spontaneity would help you. You picked up food from your favorite restaurant and headed to his set to surprise him.
You should have known it would be a bad idea but at the time you just wanted to soothe the thoughts in your head, you just wanted to see him and be happy with him. He was in his trailer you were told as soon as you got there. You opened the door with a huge smile on your face, you were happy you were going to see him after 3 months. That smile faltered as soon as you saw what was happening behind the door. He was kissing her, all those doubts crept back into your head.
