Loki's POV
They say that the worst way to hurt someone is to hurt their heart.
Odin thought of that exactly for my punishment. My sweet and innocent Y/N. She did nothing yet he decided to interrogate her for my punishment.
The guards bring her back to the cell across from me.
She was beautiful even bruised and beat up. I can't even hold her. This is pure torture.
She is barely conscious. This is not right, she wasn't a part of any of it.
I spend the next few hours helplessly watching her wince in her sleep.
Soon a guard comes and wakes her up.
"Where are you taking her? Leave her alone! Let her sleep. She didn't do anything," I scream as they drag her away.
My screams fall on deaf ears. They just continue as if I said nothing while others laugh at me. Soon my screams are replaced by my sobs. A guard comes in front of my cell.
"The All-Father wants your presence," he says pulling me out of the cell.
I am thrown in front of the All-Father.
"Tell me Loki, my son, why do you cry?" He asks as if to mock me.
"I am not your son!" I shout with all my anger and frustration.
"Why did you hurt her? She had nothing to do with any of it. She shouldn't have been brought into this," I start to well up again.
"You brought it upon all of us," he says calmly.
"I could be a better person but without her I have no reason. I can never forgive you for the torture you put her through," I continue as Odin smiles.
"So have you learned your lesson?" Odin asks.
"What lesson?" I ask.
"Will you be a better person for her brother?" Thor the oaf asks from behind.
"Of course," I answer in a demeaning tone.
"I hope you remember that in the future, we brought you up here to release you today," Odin says earning a shocked look from me.
Release me? What is he talking about? What about Y/N? What happened to her?
"Don't be so surprised, you have learned your lesson, brother," the oaf speaks again.
"Loki?" Y/N's sweet timid voice fills the hall.
"Y/N?" I ask turning around, looking for her.
To my surprise, she looks perfectly healthy and fine.
"How are you ok?" I ask as she comes closer to me.
"It was an act to test you," she says as she hesitantly wraps her hands around my torso.
Nothing else mattered right now. All that I cared about was that she was alright.

All that I cared about was that she was alright
