(Y/N)'s POV
I am super tired, I honestly don't feel like doing anything. All I want to do is curl up into a ball and go to sleep. It's just one of those days and normally (Y/B) can make me feel better but she isn't around. She won't be around for 3 more weeks. I figured since I can't concentrate on my work, I might as well go home for the day, it's not like I'm being productive by being here. I pack up and head to the elevator, just as it's about to close a hand flies in, opening the doors once again. I sigh, irritated by the delay as my friend Luke, hops in panting. As different types of photographers it's a miracle we hang out. He tends to do photoshoots with famous people whereas I photograph nature.
"Hey (Y/N). Sorry for delaying the elevator. How's it going? It must be hard being away from (Y/B) for so many days. I hope she's having fun wherever she is," Luke says smiling at me.
"Today is not a good day. I skype her everyday. She is having fun, at least I think she is," I reply with a tired smile.
Honestly I don't feel like talking at all. I feel antisocial and fatigued.
"So (Y/N), can you pretty please do me a huge favor, I mean you don't have any plans tomorrow so please," he starts pleading as he catches his breath.
So that's why he came running into the elevator, he needed something from me. Of course he needed something.
"Please (Y/N), you're my only hope," he continues to implore.
"Fine, what do you need?" I groan.
"I have this photoshoot that I'm supposed to tomorrow but its mine and Zach's anniversary. I have plans with him for the entire day but I can't cancel this photoshoot, it took forever to get," he starts explaining.
"So what do you want me to do? Spend the day with Zach?" I joke as we get off the elevator and into the parking lot.
"No! I want you to go to this address and do the photoshoot in my stead," he hands me a slip.
"But, but," I start to protest.
"Thanks (Y/N)!" he says rushing off before I can object.
I guess I have to figure out how properly photograph celebrities. Wait a minute he didn't tell me who I will photograph. I call out to him but he drives off without answering, leaving me dumbfounded in front of my beautiful ferrari. I guess I'll have to find out when I get there tomorrow. I make my way home, change into pjs crawl into bed and call (Y/B) to give her the update. She reassures me that I will take fantastic pictures then terrifies me by suggesting that I might have to photograph a celebrity I admire. What if I freeze or make a fool of myself? (Y/B) laughs at me and tells me not to worry, that I can do it. We talk for a bit before she has work to attend to and so I fall asleep anxious about impending photoshoot.
~time skip (she is already at the venue)~
Who does this guy think he is? I've been waiting her for over an hour and there is no sight of him. I wanna call Luke and yell at him but that would ruin Zach's day so I'm still waiting. Besides Luke did say that he took forever to get this photoshoot booking. If I left he would just have more problems.
"I'm sorry I'm late," I hear a voice as the door gets slammed open.
I look back and see Tom Hiddleston standing at the door. I'm starstruck, I still want to yell at him for wasting my time.
"You're not Luke, but I'm so sorry I'm late," he says approaching me.
Curse you (Y/B) for saying something like this would happen.
"No, I'm (Y/N). Its fine, life happens," I reply with a smile.
"There is no excuse in the world for making a gorgeous lady like yourself wait for me all this time," he flirts making me smile.
"Its fine, Luke had to take the day off and left you to me," I explain.
"A lucky man I am indeed. Let me make it up to you, making you wait that is. Have dinner with me tonight," he smiles.
"I'm sorry I don't go out to dinner with strangers," I reply grabbing my camera.
"I'm Tom, I play Loki in the marvel movies," he says causing me to laugh.
"I know who you are," I laugh shaking my head.
"Then we're not strangers and you can oblige to dinner," he chuckles.
"I thought dinner was supposed to be your redemption," I raise an eyebrow at him.
"It is which is why I'm asking you to grace me with your company," he implores.
"Wait I thought the phrase was grace you with my presence," I smirk.
"So will you?" he pleads.
"Let's just see how the photoshoot goes first," I concede.
He gives me a smoldering look as I start clicking away. He starts shift between the sets that were built for this photo shoot. The entire time he decided we'll play 20 questions, asking and answering questions made it feel like we knew each other forever. By the end I had no excuse not to go to dinner. All of dinner was spent telling stories and laughing. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun, and to think I was so hesitant to take this job. I have to remember to thank Luke for this. By the end of the night, he walked me to my house, gave me his number and planned a second date. I rushed into my house as soon as he was out of sight to tell (Y/B) everything.
