010 - Chapter Ten

Eleanor and Jared were curled up on the sofa, legs intertwined. Jared's arms were tightly wrapped around the waist of the petite brunette. Eleanor's arms were placed on his chest, alongside her head. She slept to the sound of his heartbeat.

Soon enough, the pair's sleeping was interrupted by the sound of giggles. Jared opened his eyes slightly, almost blinded by the florescent light that poured out of the window in front of them.

His hands began to play with Eleanor's chestnut locks of hair as he smiled longingly down at the girl.

At this sudden movement, Eleanor's eyes slowly began to open up to see Jared.

"Morning sleeping beauty..." Jared grinned cheekily before pressing his lips lightly on the top of her head.

"Hello-" she replied she curled into his side, letting out a quiet yawn.

"Shall we get some breakfast and then go out for a bit?" He asks her lightly, with a small squeeze to her petite sides.

"Yeah, sure." Eleanor then detached herself from Jared and began to yawn lightly, stretching her body before standing herself up.

"I have a surprise for you later." Jared teased playfully.

"Oh really? And that is?" Eleanor grinned cheekily as she waited for him.

"If i didn't tell you, then it wouldn't be much of a surprise now, would it?" Jared remarked jokingly to her.

The two then got up and got themselves some fruit out of the fruit bowl for their breakfast. A quiet hum escaped both of their lips, both of them humming completely different songs to each other.

Jared was humming to an EDM song that he listened to the night before.

Whilst Eleanor was humming along to the song Easy Terms from the musical Blood Brothers.

Once the two had finally finished their breakfasts, they went off upstairs and began to get themselves ready.

Jared quickly went through the entire contents of his wardrobe in order to find the perfect outfit to wear on his day out with the girl that he has developed a fairly huge crush on.

As if it wasnt obvious anyway.

Buying some expensive Lush kitchen products for her birthday, agreeing to watch anime and also cuddling in sleep.

Totally has a massive crush on her.

He smiled lightly as he finally found a decent outfit to wear. It was a white T shirt, alongside some typical skinny blue dark washed jeans. He put on his feet, his usual shoes of the white high topped converses. He threw on a blue checked shirt over the white T shirt before beginning to style his hair in its typical quiff style.

Meanwhile, Eleanor had picked out a rather cute and classy-casual outfit to wear on the day out with Jared.

She wore a cream coloured dress, that came up to her mid thigh. The white Peter pan collared dress had some 15 denier sheer tights underneath - over her legs. She also wore some white dolly styled shoes on her feet before doing her hair in a high ponytail.

The two had left their bedrooms simultaneously and accidentally bumped into each other when they were coming out of the rooms. They then looked at each other with small laughs before shaking their heads and beginning to walk down the stairs.

They then notified Mike that they were leaving the house before entailing on their adventure in the outside world.

The two took a small stroll into town, getting a cone of chips from the local chippy. Jared suddenly began to feel guilty. He felt that Eleanor would think that he wouldn't be able to pay for a whole meal at nandos for the two of them so he was just a cheapskate and bought a cone of chips and a cup of Pepsi from the chippy.

Eleanor thought the complete and utter opposite of Jared. The idea of having such a simple date honestly made her feel a lot more comfortable. She isn't one of these people who likes to stay still constantly. She has to move around and have fun for once in a while.

The two took a stroll in the park before Jared felt his phone vibrate. His siblings were asking for a face time.

"Is it alright if we talk to my siblings, please?" Jared asked with a small grin.

"Of course it is!" Eleanor grinned as Jared had accepted the face time request with his brothers and sisters. Suddenly, all five of them had popped up on the screen, laughing and having fun with each other.

"Hey guys!" Jared smiled lightly. "This is Eleanor." He introduced Eleanor to his brothers and sisters like how an infant would introduce their first friend from primary school to their parents on their very first day.

"Hey Eleanor!" Gabe grinned from the other side.

"Hey queen Gabe!" She smiled lightly. "How's Kirsty?" She asks with a small grin.

"Oh no-" Jared began, with Eleanor sending him a quizzical glance with furrowed eyebrows with confusion.

"What?!" She asks before Gabe had began to go off on a tangent about his wonderful girlfriend.

"Kirsty is absolutely amazing. Like she is really really beautiful. She makes me so happy. You know what my favourite thing is about Kirsty? Everything. Yep that's right. Kirsty is amazing. I love Kirsty." Gabe grinned cheekily before Manjo hit him up the head.

"Shut it." Manjo laughed lightly.

"Its not like you don't talk about Jerry in that way." Gabe pointed out sassily to his older brother.

"Ooooooohhhh-" Jared laughed.

"Savage-" Angelique added.

"Brutal-" Alyssa remarked.

"Banter-" CJ finished.

"Sassy queen Gabe is sassy oh my days-" Eleanor grinned lightly before they all began to have a funny conversation about seahorses in the sea or something like that.

Soon enough, the phone conversation had ended between the two of them and the rest of the group. CJ had already declared Eleanor to be a member of the JAGMAC squad. So now there was: Jared, Eleanor, Angelique, Gabe, Kirsty, Manjo, Jerry, Alyssa, Jonathan, CJ and Paola.

If they ever had a squad outing, there would be mad banter being thrown across.

"Hey Eleanor. Since we might as well be going home soon, I guess I should give you your surprise now before we get back and end up interrupted." He grinned lightly.

"Alright then." Eleanor grinned lightly as she turned around to face him.

"Close your eyes and stay as still as absolutely possible." Jared smiled lightly before Eleanor closed her eyes slightly.

Jared grinned cheekily before picking up some pieces of grass and throwing them over her.

"Oh my gosh Jared! What was that?" Eleanor asked in complete and utter shock, opening her eyes widely.

Jared then grabbed her arm, pulled her closer and then lightly pressed his lips against hers.

The two immediately closed their eyes and Eleanor returned the kiss.

This was her first kiss?

How did it feel?

It was good...

Honestly?

It was amazing.

The two slowly had to pull away from each other since they were oxygen deprived teenagers from the twenty first century.

"Woah..." Eleanor smiled lightly as she leaned her head against his.

"Eleanor Greene, will you be the official Batgirl to my Robin?" He asked her, his thumb lightly stroking against her cheek. His lips curved up into a nervous yet happy smile.

"Of course I will, Jared."
