When we got home, I didn’t even bother saying anything to anyone; I just ran upstairs, shut my bedroom door and sat up in bed continuing to cry. I thought about everything bad; how hard these next two weeks were going to be without Luke, the thought of not actually seeing his face or holding his body. Don’t get me wrong, we were going to speak to each other everyday, but it would never be the same. I would never be able to hold his face, hug his muscular body or kiss his tender lips whilst doing so. This depressive phase must have gone on for at least half an hour before my phone beeped. I’d left it on the other side of my room but you have never seen me so quick to run out of bed and go and get it. Thankfully I wasn’t disappointed, it was Luke.

“Hey gorgeous, hope you’re okay now. I’ve landed safe and sound and am with the boys. They all took the mick out of me cos they could see I had been crying. Love you xxx” Instantly my eyes dried up. I was so happy he was safe and now just couldn’t wait to see him again.

“I’m okay now I’ve heard from you, don’t think my eyes have any tears left lol. Give the boys a slap from me for taking the mick. Love you too xxxx” I replied. With this, I decided to go downstairs and show my face, after all my family were probably worried about me, they had never seen me in this way before. As I walked down the stairs, I heard voices from the living room.

“I’ve never seen her so sad, her eyes were permanently streaming,” said my dad

“She must really like him,” said my mum

“I really think sh…” their conversation cut off as I walked in.

“Hello darling,” my mum said, “how are you doing? Do you want a cuddle?”

“No I’m fine honestly, I’ve cheered up now,” she smiled. My phone beeped again.

“I hit Jai so hard he started crying ;). Just remember only 14 more days J” My mum caught me smiling at my phone and she knew it must have been Luke. She asked if he had landed yet and I told her that he had. I was surprised I hadn’t had the mick taken out of me yet for bringing a boy over and crying over him, but just because it hadn’t come yet didn’t mean it wasn’t going to come.

“Hey!! That’s mean! & don’t worry, I’m counting!!” I replied to Luke’s message. We hadn’t announced or made it obvious in public that we were dating yet; we wanted to have some time to ourselves before we told the fans. Quite honestly I was a bit worried how they would take it; I hoped they would understand and not be mad at us.

A few hours later, around an hour before I knew the boys show was about to start, I texted Luke again wishing him and the rest of the Janoskians luck, but I knew that they would smash it anyway, they always did. I knew I’d have to send it that far in advance to have any chance of getting a reply, but surprisingly enough he replied in next to no time.

“Thanks babe from all of us xxxx” I couldn’t wait to meet the rest of the boys again; they seemed like such a laugh. I decided to have a movie night with my parents, brother and I invited my sister over too, to take my mind off of it. We went and got loads of ice cream, sweets, chocolate and fizzy drinks, and it was decided that I could pick the first film, something that was a rare occasion. We finally decided on Meet the Fockers, the Hangover 2 and Step Brothers, all comedies that were guaranteed to make us laugh until we couldn’t breathe. We ended up sitting up until 1 or 2am but none of us cared.

The first few days after Luke left were the hardest, especially because it was half term so I didn’t even have school to take my mind off of it and keep me busy, but once I was back at school, I was so busy that it was only in the evenings that I missed him the most. It was almost impossible not to tell any of my friends at school what was going on, especially Alicia and Amelia as they had been with me the night we first met, but I managed to bite my tongue. Everyday Luke and I texted each other, and he always reminded me of how many days it would be until he was back over here. We skyped each other whenever it was possible but obviously he was busy with the tour and I was in school so that was a rarity. I missed him more than anyone could ever imagine, but I knew I had to be supportive, and that the boys needed to do this tour. Soon enough, we wouldn’t have to worry about it; we just had to get past the distance. Sooner than I expected, the time when Luke was flying back came around. Luckily it fell on the weekend so I didn’t have to waste some of our time together in school. His flight was on Friday night and he left again early on Sunday morning. It wasn’t a long time together but to us it meant the world.
