In the middle of the night the squeaking of my bedroom door being opened awaked me. Afraid, I sat bolt upright in bed, my breathing increasing in speed and intensity as fear rushed through my body.

“It’s only me,” Luke’s soft voice whispered and I was instantly comforted, “it wouldn’t be right for you to travel all this way and sleep alone.” He got into bed next to me and cuddled up.

“You gave me a fright!” I said, turning over and lightly slapping his on the arm. He giggled, trying to hold it in so he didn’t wake anybody up in the house. He had his arms wrapped around me, holding me in tightly, spooning me; it felt so good.

“I love you Lukey, you know that right?” I was a bit embarrassed to say it because although we both knew it, we didn’t say it much, but it was true.

“Of course I know! And I love you so much too Skyler! I can’t wait to spend the next seven weeks with you,” I grinned like the Cheshire cat at this, which Luke found amusing, placing his hand over his mouth to muffle the sound of his laughter. The next day we had planned to go on a little tour around Glenroy and we were going to go for lunch at Luke’s favourite place. It was nice to see Luke’s side of life because every time we had spent together was at my house, going to places I loved, and seeing him so happy and at home, laughing and joking with his mum, brothers and friends made me even happier. We sat up until the early hours of the morning catching up and chatting about how we were going to spend the following day before I fell asleep on his chest, the comforting feeling of his muscular arms around me keeping me warm.

I woke up in the morning and I had hardly moved from my original resting position, my head was still resting on his chest and his arms still wrapped tightly around me. Luke was still sound asleep and he looked way too cute and settled to wake, so I slowly tried to release his grip around my body and I wiggled out of bed. I thought I had succeeded when suddenly,

“Come back to bed sweetie,” he said in his husky morning voice, and as he sat up slightly I caught him grinning to himself.

“What!?” I said, feeling my face going scarlet.

“You look so cute in my clothes!” I had slept in a pair of Luke’s tracksuit bottoms, which I had rolled up about a hundred times at the waist because they were too big for me, and my Janoskians tour top. My hair was in a messy ponytail where I had slept on it but I slowly walked back over to the bed and dragged myself back under the covers, cuddling onto Luke. We didn’t say much for a little while; he just occasionally kissed the top of my head. When he did this, I snuggled closer into his chest, kissing him back on his chin. It was times like this that I would remember forever; the times that we just snuggled up together, not having to say anything yet somehow understanding how the other person felt.

“Come on sleepy head, we have to get up now!” I said suddenly feeling a burst of energy. I could see Luke was starting to doze off again.

“Just five more minutes please,” he sighed.

“Nope!” I said and jumped out of bed, pulling on his hand, “lets go and have some breakfast.” After another sigh and a bit more persuasion from me, Luke finally got up. He ran his fingers through the remainder of his messy quaff and pulled up his slouching tracksuit bottoms, staying topless, showing off his tattoos. I gave him a tight squeeze around the waist, nestling my head into his chest before walking into the kitchen hand in hand.

Already sitting around the dining room table was Gina, Beau and Jai.

“Oh hey guys, I was just doing breakfast. Do you want anything?” Gina said all smiley and welcoming as usual. We gave in our orders and joining the other boys around the table.
