"Britt, you have a phone call. It's somebody very important. " a police officer told me. I took the phone. "Hello? Who is this?" I asked. "Hi, Britt, my name is Taylor. Taylor Swift." The voice said. "HOLEY CRAP ARE YOU SERIOUS???!!!" I asked. This can't be happening! "Yes I'm serious! Listen, I heard about your story on the news and I'm so sorry sweetie. I also know that you've been a fan since 2006. " " not a fan a swiftie" I said. "Well, I have decided to adopt you. " Taylor told me. Holey crap!!!! My idol wants to adopt me!!!!! Oh my flipping gosh!!!!! "When!!??" I asked.
"Well, I'm flying to Indiana tonight and thought we could stay in a hotel until you get out of school then fly to my place in New York. "
"That'd be so amazing!! But also, my school has a trip to an amusement park called Kings Island... It's a week after school gets out and it's all paid for. Can I stay for that too? You could even come if you'd want!" I really would like it if Taylor would come to Kings Island with me. It would be so much fun! I just don't want to be crowded by a million people!
"That would be so fun, Britt! Of course I would go with you!" Taylor said excitedly. "Well, I have to go get ready for my flight. See you tomorrow babe."
"Ok bye!"
I cannot believe this!!! I handed the phone back to the police officer. I looked at the time. I really should get some sleep. It's already almost midnight. I'm going to have a huge day tomorrow. I crawled into the bed the police officers are letting me use and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. It was such a long day. Tomorrow is Saturday. No school. I have to text my friends tomorrow. They have been blowing up my phone asking where I've been, so I turned it off. I really miss my friends. Even my ex best friend, Rose. (This really happened to me). So we have been friends since the 4th grade. But then she got this boyfriend and basically ditched me and my other best friend, Caitlyn. And now last week a bunch of people told me Rose called me annoying and said she hates me. So I asked her and said It was true. But I didn't let it bother me. Now me and her boyfriend are pretty good friends. I bet my other best friend, Cheyenne is freaking out. She hated me being absent from school for even one day! And now I've been gone twice in a row. I hope tomorrow comes fast.
