"The Best Day". ~T.S.~. (Completed)

Chapter 29: home. Well, New York

"Adam!" I screamed as I ran into moms apartment in New York.

"Britt!! I've missed you guys so much!" Adam said.
He picked me up and hugged me so tight.

"Can't breathe!" I said.

"Sorry!" He set me down on the floor gently.
Then I see two little fluffy objects come around the corner.

"Olivia! Meredith!" I ran to them and started petting them.
Gosh I love the little fluff balls! How did mom find the cutest cats ever?!
I looked at the vintage clock hanging on the wall. It's 6:00 pm. I'm kinda tired. Just a little bit though.

"Britt? Do you wanna have a movie night and have ice cream?" Mom asked me.

"Heck yeah!"
I love movies! And I cream! Adam got a pizza out of the freezer and put it into the oven. Mom went over to the tv and looked through all the movies.

"Britt, Valentine's Day or the lorax?" Mom asked.

"Um, the lorax!" I replied.
I've seen Valentine's Day way to many times!
I took out my phone and got onto Instagram. Tons of people commented on the picture I posted of me Justin with #goals! I kinda agree though. Besides talvin, lots of people said bristin (the fans ship name for me and Justin) is the second cutest couple. I think it's so sweet!
I sat down on the couch and Adam handed me a plate with pizza on it.

"Thanks"
Then mom handed me a bowl with vanilla ice cream and rainbow sprinkles. I took a picture of it to post on Instagram. I put a caption saying "#home finally!"
After I finished my dinner and the movie I went to my room. Olivia followed me and jumped onto my bed. I grabbed a big t shirt. It's the one I got from moms 1989 concert. I also grabbed my black nike pros. I went into my bathroom to get a shower. I let the water warm up as I got undressed. I stayed in the shower so long I guess mom noticed.

"Britt? Are you ok?"

"Yes! "
And then mom went away. I turned off the water and got into my pajamas. It's past 10:00 now. I went out of the bathroom to find Olivia still laying on my bed. I climbed into the side of the bed where Olivia isn't and pulled out my phone again. I got a text from Justin.

"I'm glad you made it home safe!"

"New York isn't my real home. Indiana is. But yeah I made it. " I said.
I don't think I will ever consider New York my home. I have only lived here for about a month and I lived in Indiana from when I was 4 until last month.

"Why don't you consider New York your home?" He asked.

"Because. I just don't. " I replied.
I don't really want to tell Justin why. He doesn't need to know yet.

"Ok. I'm going to bed. Goodnight. "

"Goodnight"
I put my phone back down and stared at the ceiling. I wonder what I'm going to do tomorrow. I actually kind of want to go swimming. I know mom has a pool but I've never seen it. Well, I have on the internet but I haven't seen it in person since I haven't gone out back where the pool is. Maybe I'll see it tomorrow. I shut my eyes and I eventually drifted off to a deep sleep.
