"Where am I?" I asked as I looked around. I'm in a bed in a white room with a curtain. Am I at the hospital? What could have happened? Nobody is in the room with me. Finally after a few minutes, mom walked in.
"Britt! Your awake! I'll be right back. I'm going to get a nurse. " mom said.
Mom left the room and a few minutes later came back with a nurse.
"Hi, how are you feeling?" The nurse asked me.
"Ok I guess. But my head guests a little. What happened?" I asked.
"Well, we were in time square about to get into the car and one of the paparazzi accidentally hit you in the head with a camera. And then you got knocked out. " mom told me.
"Oh. How long has it been since then?" I asked.
"2 days. You were in a coma. " the nurse told me.
I nodded. I looked at the nurses name tag. Her name is Nicole. Nicole pulled something up on the computer. It looks like something that tracks my breathing.
"Well, everything looks good. I'm going to keep you overnight just to be sure and tomorrow if everything still looks good you may go home". Nicole said.
And then she left leaving me and mom alone in the room.
"When am I going to see Adam again?" I asked mom.
"Well, I'm not sure. But after you get out of the hospital my parents and brother want to meet you. " mom responded.
"Really?! Cool! "
