Chapter 21: Ellen's interview

"Hi Taylor! You've been busy these past few weeks haven't you?!" Ellen said.

"Yup I have." Mom responded.

"So, don't you have a new edition to your family?"

"Yes I do"

"Please tell me it's not another cat!" Ellen said making the crowed laugh.

"Nope! It's a real human being!" Mom said laughing.

"Is it a girl or boy? What's it's name? How old is it?"

"Well, it's a she. Her name is Britt and she's 14 years old. "

"Wow the big one four. "

"Um, 14 isn't that old!"

"Is she talented like you?" Ellen asked.

"Yes! We actually did a surprise concert for some fans last week! Did you not hear about it?"

"No I haven't heard about it! Britt, come on out here!" Ellen said.
I took a deep breath. I walked up into the stage and went to stand by mom.

"Hi Britt! Welcome! " Ellen said hugging me.

"Hi! Thanks for having me!" I replied.

"So, your mom here says you've got talent. Would you mind singing a bit for us?"

"Um, sure. What do you want me to sing?"
I'm so nervous! I hope I don't mess this up!

"Sing something by Taylor. "

"Ok, um..."
What should I sing? I know!!!

"I don't think that passenger seat has ever looked this good to me"

"He tells me about his night and I count the colors in his eyes"

"He'll never fall in love he swears..."
I kept singing until the end. I love  to sing accapella. Or with a guitar.

"That was amazing Britt! " Ellen said.
The audience clapped really loud. I got a standing ovation! This is so amazing! Eventually the crowed settled down.

"So, how have you liked living with Taylor?" Ellen asked me.

"I love it!" I said.
The crowed starts saying awe so I turn around so I can see the projector. They are showing pictures of me and mom from our Instagram accounts! Right now they have one up from kings island. It's the one where me, mom and Caitlyn got blue ice cream cones and put it on each other's noses.

"Who's that other girl?" Ellen asked.

"Oh, um shes, that's my best friend Caitlyn. " I said.
Tears are starting to form in my eyes. I'm trying not to cry. I just miss her soooooooo much!!!!!!

"Oh. She must be a really good friend to let you put ice cream on her nose!"
The audience laughed.

"Yup. She's the best. "

"How long have you been best friends?"

"Since like.... First grade I think. "
Even more tears welled up in my eyes.

"This picture is goals! Don't you guys agree?" Ellen asked the audience.
I looked back at the projected and see the one of me, Caitlyn, and Cheyenne in my moms car for my birthday. We were going to a restaurant and we made hearts with our hands (pic at the top).

"So it's you, Caitlyn, and who's the third girl?" Ellen asked.

"That's my other best friend, Cheyenne." I said.
Ellen asked a few more questions.

"Well, thank you both for coming! And nice to meet you Britt!" Ellen said.
Me and mom went off the stage. I did it. My very first interview as Taylor Swifts daughter. That's so cool! My phone is blowing up with texts and notifications. Oh my gosh!!!

"That was so sweet of you too go on with Ellen and tell her about me!" Caitlyn said.
I didn't respond. I don't know what to say. My first interview was a success. Now I just have to get by tomorrow and then I get to go visit my friends and boyfriend in Indiana !! Yay!
