You strolled into the school, trying to look as if you knew where you were going. Which you didn't. You stumbled upon a map on the wall in the corridor, knowing it wouldn't help, since you weren't quite good at reading hangul. You sighed, this was going to be more difficult than you thought.

"How am I even meant to write in class? People will think I have problems..." You said to yourself, rubbing the back of your neck. You studied the map for a little longer, all you really wanted to do was to find the Principles office.

"Keep walking down the corridor, turn left and his office is the third door. Hard to miss." You jumped back unaware of his presence and your heart almost skipped a beat. You raised your hand to your heart, trying to tell it to calm down.

"Ah, don't scare me like that." You finally turned to look at who ever was talking. "Yoongi right?" You hesitated, he just laughed a little your response, what did you do?

"I didn't know I was that scary and I didn't know you were that easy to scare." He said casually. You only just met the guy and he's already talking to you like you both have been friends for ages.

"No, no, no. It's just I'm nervous." You said shyly before entwining your hands together because you sensed things getting awkward, it felt like a whole minute when he decided to reply.

"What's there to be nervous about? Nothing interesting happens at this school. Besides, your new to Korea and it's understandable that you might be struggling with the language." He explained, you were stuck on how to respond but was soaking in the information he was saying. "Lucky for you, it means you get to do less work. Trust me, I would rather sleep all day than write essays." He added on, walking off. Your eyes traced him before he was no longer in sight. How did he know what you were looking for?

You shrugged it off, taking his advice and then walked down to the end of the corridor, turned right and walk three doors down to find one huge door. You guessed it was the principal's office and knocked on the door, waiting for a reply.

"Enter." The muffled voice called. To your surprise, it was a woman. She was sitting in front of a large desk, papers piled everywhere.

"Annyonghaseyo. This is the principal's office, yes?" You asked as politely as you could, first impressions count.

"Yes, you must be our new student y/n? No need to be so formal and I am very sorry for all the mess. Please take a seat." You sat down in the chair facing opposite on the other side of the table. "So, y/n, you are confident at Korean?" She asks before grabbing a sheet then scribbled something down, waiting for me to talk to probably jot some more things down.

"I'm fluent at speaking. I struggle at reading or writing hangul but I do understand Romanisation." I explained. Like I thought she would, she jotted down some words on the paper and then looked at the computer before clicking the buttons. A printer began making noise.

"Thank you. Don't worry, I will email your teachers to make sure they know. You can write in Romanisation but we would like you to come after school each day to make you understand hangul. This should be a month project; I think you should find this easy. Don't worry we have already told you Mum." She spoke over the printer, which finally stopped making noise. "That, over by the printer is your timetable, take it and enjoy your first day. If anything goes wrong, please ask me or one of your teachers."

"Thanks." You replied, taking the timetable, that thankfully was converted into Romanisation and had hangul. You walked out the office and closed the door behind yourself. You had peeped back at the timetable which showed that you had Korean (That's what they call it right? Similar to how we do English lessons... With all those poems and Shakespeare shit? Correct me if I'm wrong.), great, that's just the first lesson you would want to have. You went back to the map to see where your Korean class was until you heard someone in the distance call your name.

"Yah! Y/N!" You turned your head to see three people from that group you saw earlier.

"Err... yeah?" You asked, now facing your whole body towards them.

"What lesson do you have next?" One of them asked, you believed his name was Jimin.

"Korean, why?"

"OH! Your one of the smart students aren't you?" Asked Tae, you looked at him confused.

"What are you talking about?" You asked concerningly.

"Jin, Yoongi and Namjoon are in the top classes for everything, they have Korean next too, whereas the rest of us have History." Tae seemed to boast about the last part. He didn't seem to really care about what class he was in.

"We aren't in the bottom class... just in the middle." Pointed out Jungkook. "But, if you want, we can show you the way to your Korean class." He offered. You shook your head.

"No thanks, I want to try get there myself, besides I saw Yoongi go that way." You pointed towards the corridor he walked into when you first saw him when you were studying the maps.

"Ah, no. That's the way to the music classes. He goes there all the time, along with Namjoon. But I don't think Namjoon went today." He laughed at the last bit. "Namjoon went dance practice with Hoseok, Jin tagged along. We do a lot of stuff before school. But I think they all went to class now." Said Jimin.

"I don't think Y/n wants to know what the rest of us are up too, Jimin." Said Jungkook.

"ANYWAYS, you would want to take the corridor that turns left, your Korean class should be there." Tae directed. You thanked them all before leaving to going to your lesson. Why did Yoongi like going to the music classes? It wasn't really any of your concern so you pushed that thought to the back of your head. You finally arrived at your Korean class, you quickly checked your (Phone/Watch), showing the time 8:59, you had exactly one minute to get into class.

You knocked on the door before opening, seeing multiple eyes staring at you. You noticed Jin and Namjoon sitting at the desks. Jin and J-hope smiled at you while Namjoon gave you a thumbs up, you (Smiled/Waved) back at them. Yoongi wasn't there.

"And you are?" You snapped out of looking at Jin, J-hope and Namjoon. The teacher was looking at you.

"Sorry, I'm Y/n, the new student." You replied, you weren't too fond of the teacher so far.

"Yes, I remember. I got the email, I still want you to work hard. Yes?" You nodded at his question. He appointed you to an empty desk, each desk could contain two people. Namjoon and J-hope were in the desk next to you and Jin was in front. You spent about ten minutes in silence as the teacher kept talking about the essay you were going to be writing for the next few lessons. There was a knock on the door and a second later Yoongi walked in like he was early.

"Am I late?" He asked.

"You better have a note to as you were late Min Yoongi, this has been happening every week. This needs to stop-"

"One of the music teachers sent an email." He interrupted before taking a seat. Right next to you. I swear the teacher attempted to roll his eyes into the back of his head.

"Fine. I need you to tone down on that attitude. AS I was saying before I was RUDELY interrupted..." He continued to blab on with whatever he was talking about and started writing on the board. You watched as Yoongi took out a piece of paper, with stuff already written down. Unfortunately, you couldn't read it because it was in hangul. That's annoying. You continued to watch as he began writing, he had neat handwriting.

"When you going to ask?" He dropped his pen on the paper before looking at you.

"Ask what?" You looked away, then started to write on your paper notes the teacher writ down on the board.

"What I'm writing. I can see you looking."

"No point me asking, I can't read it."

"Why not? I my handwriting bad?"

"No, I just can't read hangul."
