Hi my loves, this might not be as long as everyone wanted it but deal with it 😩! I was a bit too sleepy for the day 😐, so read on:

Gio's pov:
My heart fell out of its place, went outside into the deadly summer sun, and hit itself with a car.

"W-what do you mean they found a body?" I ask jumping off the bed.

"He means they've found our Jessie," a teary eyed Kat says from the side of the doorway.

She'd been crying nonstop and that lead to the reoccurring bags under her eyes to return. She was refusing to eat until we found Jessie and it's been 5 days since.

"We don't know for certain," my father says rubbing her back.

"It's her, I can just feel it in my heart," she says shrugging his arms off.

"Why though? Why my little girl? And why a little girl in general?" She says to herself before walking away. I knew she was going down to her room to begin one of her crying marathons again and it hurt to know that there was nothing that anyone could do about it to ease her pain. She refused to talk to anyone and I didn't have the balls to go and talk to her. How could I? This was practically my fault.

"Go talk to her, you might get to her unlike the rest of us," my father says turning his attention back to me.

He'd been silent lately and I know I was suppose to be use to his silence but this was a deadly silence. He was too deep in thought and I didn't know how to deal with it.

I walk downstairs to her room and sit on the edge of her bed for the first time ever since she's moved in.

I didn't know what to say to her. I wasn't ready to tell her about Lester and knew that if she knew, she'd hate me forever. I couldn't allow that to happen. No her also.

"Kat, I don't know what to say to you to make your pain go away. Well really, I don't know how to deal with this myself actually," I say fiddling with my hands. "It shouldn't have been our Jessie, we should've looked after her better and I as her father should've protected her more than I did," I didn't realize my voice was cracking but pretty soon I felt her arms wrap around me and that was all the reassurance I needed.

I didn't need her a girlfriend or a lover, as of now she was just about everything I needed in a friend. Her touch gave me all the reassurance and comfort I've been needing and haven't been getting.

My phone begins vibrating distracting us from our little moment.

"Hello," I answer into the phone.

"Come and get her before I change my mind, I can't and refuse to hurt a child out of hatred ," he says bitterly before hanging up.

"Hello?" I ask into the phone frantically.
I try redialing the previous number only to be answered by a machine.

"We're sorry, the number you've dialed is invalid. Please check the number and try again," comes the same female voice for the 10th time I've dialed the number.

"F-ck!" I mutter into the phone. I text the number over to Santiago and in a records time he's got an exact location.

I send out a small prayer under my breath and pull in Kat for another hug once again.

"What?" Comes Kat's voice.

"We found her and she's very much alive," I say before jumping off the bed.

Diyah's pov:
I brushed my hair down and slipped on a short black dress before doing my makeup. Something light and simple but yet noticeable.
