What I last remember, was that I fell from that stupid tree. Oh, gosh. What did they want from me? It wasn't like I was rich. If they wanted money, then they should've kidnapped Rishana. Her family was the richest in Staerit. I still didn't get why Rishana had to stay in such a place. And when I say such a place, I referred to Staerit, known for being an old, creepy town.
Oh, wait! I have the power of invisibility. Well, at least I think I do. Why didn't I use my powers and hide from those horrible people? Maybe, it wasn't too late. I could try using it. But what if I fail to try the second time.
"What are you thinking about, huh?" the boss asked. "You know you can't escape!" he chuckled making the others laugh as well. I rolled my eyes and turned around, facing the back of the truck. It took a lot of effort to move in those ropes. I tried squirming, but it didn't budge. I sighed, not being able to move.
"Don't move, Samantha!" I glared at him. "How do you know my name?" He smirked. "I just know." The van stopped. The driver, turned around, with the hood covering his face. "We are there, sir."
The boss grabbed my arms and pushed me out of the truck. The sun was setting, painted the sky in streaks of orange and purple. It was the only thing that lifted calmed me.
In the middle of the grassland, there was just a dark modern-looking building. It looked sad, being surrounded by twisted trees without leaves. This would make a great haunted house for Halloween. Hey, that would be a great idea to improve the creepiness in Staerit.
I smiled to myself with all of these wonderful thoughts. "I wonder what you have in that brain of yours," the boss asked behind me. "You seem to think a lot." I ignored him and he laughed in a way that made me want to punch him in the face. I rolled my eyes.
"Knock her out. Can't have her remembering the way in and out."
I turned around to glare at him, but just as I turned my head, I blanked out.
I was brought round when someone threw me in a room and locked the door. I groaned at the pain in my elbows and my head. I looked around and was surprised. I was expecting to stay in a dark, cold cage with no colors, nothing. This was definitely out of my expectation.
I stood, leaning against the door to gain balance and at the same time took a look at my new room. The walls of the room were sky blue and the ceiling painted black. The floor was wooden planks. On my left, there was an L-shaped wooden desk that covered the whole corner and a chair in front of it. I moved closer and found a backpack on the seat. Weird. Beside the desk stood a closet and full-length mirror with a standard sized bed. I opened the closet and saw it filled with clothes and shoes that I would wear. Have they been stalking me? All the way, at the end of the bed, was a door. I turned around to see the right side of the room with a bookshelf filled with books I've never seen before. There were 2 glass windows with purple curtains at the end of the room. I walked up to the windows and found out they were caged. No escape route. Yet. The dark sky outside told me it was night. The only source of light came from the lamp on the ceiling and the lamp on the desk.
If only the girls were here with me. They would squeal. This room is big enough for all of us. I thought sadly, missing them.
