Wounded the black raven bird, it flights

With a bleeding deep scratch, it soars the skies

its feathered wings ,with desesperation they move

It refuses to shed a tear or give a cry,

Even though it knows its time is near

Its gleaming peak , it shines under the moonlight

Behind him, a large hawk appears to follow

The hawks eyes, with a predatory gleam they seem to shine

The injured raven with slight agitation,  it speeds its flapping of the wings

When all seems to be lost, a cave appears in sight

Not just any cave either, it is the cave where a leopard resides.

The leopard to the raven bird, it Is aligned

The raven with final determination dives from the the sky into the cave.

The hungry hawk blindlessly follows, thinking its finally going to eat.

The leopard to the flapping of wings. it awakens

Only to see that his old friend is in trouble.

The leopard with rage filled desire launches to the rescue.

A menacing predatory growl is heard throught the cave, that is when notices its mistake.

The raven low it flights , as the leopard jumps and tears the shocked hawk apart.

In the end a ravens life was saved, and a leopards meal was delivered

And the two friends continued to stay true to their long-ago made pact.
