With a civil war dividing the Avengers. Rey and Bucky discover they have a lot in common and begin to get very close. They are each other's weaknesses and it begins to show when they get sloppy with their work.

"Ready." I answered and they handed me a file. "Your mission, confirmed death in five hours, bring her body back."
I nodded and opened the file
There was a picture of Rey, I was going to tell them I couldn't kill her, but they'd torture me.
"Is there a problem?" The man asked. "Because if you don't kill her I'll find someone who will..."
"No. I can do it." I said and stood up. I changed into my uniform and loaded up with all my weapons.
I was on a motorcycle trailing behind her on the highway. I shot out her tires and watched her car flip. I heard her scream and cringed
I pulled over and started walking to her car. I heard a small groan and knew it was hers. I didn't hesitate to rip the door off her car and pull her out. She was alive but barely...
"Bucky?" She gasped.
"I'm sorry, I have to, or they'll keep me forever.... I can't be their slave anymore." I said and she closed her eyes
"Don't worry, Buck, I understand." She said and I pulled out my gun.
She sucked in air and I pulled the trigger without feeling anything for her.

I sat up immediately and could feel my heart beating through my chest.
My palms were very sweaty and I was actually worried. I looked beside me and Rey was sound asleep.
I checked the alarm clock and it read 2:58am. I was still shaken from that nightmare and Rey stirred in her sleep then opened her eyes.
"Bad dream?" She whispered. "Yes." I answered and she turned on the light on the stand beside us.
"Don't worry about me Rey, just get some sleep." I said and she handed me a glass of water.
I drank it and handed it back to her. "I'm not going to bed, when you're obviously upset. I wasted so much time I could've spent with you, sulking in my room..." She said.
"Yeah, I kinda wish I could've spent more time with you." I said and kissed her cheek.
"Then let's go out right now, get at least one good date in." She smiled and I shrugged.
"Alright." I said and she hopped up out of bed.
She put on a sweatshirt and put her hair up. "What are you starring at?" She blushed. "Sorry, you're so beautiful." I said and she looked away.
"You're such a flirt, Barnes." She said and threw me my shirt, I took it off when I got hot. I sort of struggled to put it on with one hand but Rey helped.
She then leaned in and kissed me. I put my hand in her hair and pulled her closer. My new favorite thing in the world was kissing her.
She pulled away and grabbed my hand. "Let's go!" She said excitedly and pulled me out to the empty streets of Wakanda.
"Where should we go?" I asked and she shrugged. "Does it matter? I'm happy we are finally alone." She said and we continued to walk
She stopped in front of a bar. "Our first date is going to be in a dirty smelly bar?" I asked and she nodded.
"This is the only place open, or we could go back to bed. She said sarcastically. We walked in and it was packed, I tensed up and she knew it. Rey squeezed my hand and pulled us to two empty seats at the end of the bar
"Can we get an order of fries and two shots of patron." Rey said and the man nodded.
Someone walked over and I tensed up until I realized he was the server. I hate always being on edge.
My shirt covered up where my arm used to be, and it felt nice not to worry about covering it up for once.
We both ate the fries and had a few drinks, They didn't effect me and Rey didn't drink much.
We spent the time laughing, telling each other stories, and jokes.
I actually had a very good time. I never thought in a million years Id be happy and laughing again. But I am; and it's amazing.
But I want to make sure Rey will be safe. Mostly from me

I woke up on Rey's hospital bed with her on top of me. She was dead asleep.
I checked the clock and it was about time for me to go.
I shook Rey awake and she sat right up, "It's time isn't it?" She said and I nodded.
She leaned in and kissed me, "I'm going to change, I'll meet you down there in five minutes." I said and she nodded. "Okay, but I was wondering if, before you go, we could take a picture together, since we don't have any." She said and I smiled
"I'll take that as a yes." She said and took out her phone.
We took a few,
There was one of us both smiling at the camera, one of us kissing, one of me kissing her on the cheek, and one of us both laughing at something she said.
It made walking out of her room, a whole lot harder than it should've been.
I walked down to the medical ward where doctors changed me into all white clothing.

Steve walked in and I felt horrible I was leaving him again, I've caused so much trouble for him.
"You and Rey, I heard you two talking last night... Are you happy with her?" He asked right away.
"I'm happy." I genuinely smiled and he did to and hugged me.
"Good, that's all I want." He said and smiled.
"Are you sure about this?" He asked after a small silence. "I can't trust my own mind, it's best if I go back under until they have figured out how to cleared things up." I said and Rey walked in.

She was changed into a white tank top with a black leather jacket over and some jeans. She walked up to me and put a hand on my arm.
She leaned in and kissed my on he cheek. Then pulled me in for a hug. "Steve and I will be right here waiting when you come back." She whispered in my ear and Steve joined the hug
