Colleen's POV
i wake up the next morning, have a coffee and shortly after leave to my new apartment. I can't wait to see Josh again, We were texting all night last night and I feel like we've known each other for years. I do like him a bit, okay maybe a lot but I'm not ready for a relationship yet. I don't know about him but I have a gut feeling he likes me to.
But right now I just want to be home.
Josh's POV
Colleen just texted me telling me she'll be home in an hour and a half to two hours with traffic. I am beyond happy and excited, even though I've known her for a day. If even that, but we texted each other all night last night and every time I heard my phone buzz I smiled to myself and instantly got ten times happier.
I get up and get dressed knowing Colleen will show up any minute. We're not official and I don't think she's ready. I thought I wasn't either but when I started to get to know her I knew I wanted her to be mine. I'll give her the time she needs.
After a few minutes with my thoughts I hear someone walking outside my door, then I hear a door close next to mine and that's when i know it's Colleen. I grab my phone quickly and decide to leave her a text message.
Josh: I heard you
about two minutes later I hear my phone buzz and I get instant butterflies in my stomach. How does she do this to me?
Colleen: creep much. lol, I'm teasing you. come over for a bit.
she responds. I get excited, run to my bathroom fix up my hair a bit make sure I don't smell or look bad. When I'm all good I head over and knock on her door waiting for her to open it.
