Colleen's POV
I kissed him. I'm so fucking stupid! Why did I have to kiss him as we were actually getting closer. It's the next day and I'm so awkward with Josh right now. "look Colleen.. we don't have to be like this." Josh says standing up from the couch. I stand as well. "but Josh I told you I'm not ready." I say a little annoyed. He doesn't say a word. He gets close to me before he grabs my face gently in his palms of his hands. He kisses me softly and sweetly. I kiss him back and touch his arms getting closer to his body. He brakes the kiss. "well I sure as hell wasn't ready for that." I say giggling. he smiles, "Colleen I know you said you wanted to wait a bit, but please. Give me a chance. At least consider it. I love you." I can't help but smile and blush. I try to hide my face but he stops me. "I love you too Josh. And I want to be with you but I don't want to ruin our friendship." "how will it ruin our friendship? first of all I don't think friends kiss. And Colleen, we both damn well know we love each other more than just friends." he is one hundred percent correct but still. I still feel it's too soon and he has to except that.
