Colleen's POV
We land in Georgia and go to baggage claim. We leave the airport and head to Josh's parents house in an uber. It's late at night but I slept on the plane so I'm good. I'm kind of nervous to meet Joshua's family because we are just good friends and aren't going to date. Even if I hate to say it i'm falling for this boy. "momma this is Colleen. Colleen this is Lisa my momma." Josh introduces me to his mom. I shake her hand and smile. We sit down together and talk for a bit while Josh finds his dad. "Colleen! Nice to finally meet ya" Greg says entering the room followed by Joshua. I stand up to say hi. He surprisingly hugs me. I give Josh a strange look, he just looks me in the eye and nods his head. "so glad you could come Colleen." Josh says sitting next to me. He unexpectedly puts his hand on my knee. I look at his hand then I make eye contact with him. "I'm sorry I have to ask. Are you guys together or.." Lisa asks. I laugh, "oh no just best friends. We sometimes act like we are dating but I'm not ready yet" I clarify everything and they understand. "So are you sleeping in the same bed?" Greg asks cautious. "we have before." Josh answers quickly. "yeah um I had a nightmare and asked him to stay with me" I say awkwardly trying not to make eye contact with anyone. "I think you guys look cute together." Lisa says randomly. my jaw drops a bit and that's when I know it's time to go to bed. "thanks. Well um I'm tired I should probably go to sleep." I say getting up. "bedroom is up the stairs, last door at your right." Josh gives me the directions. "thanks" "I'll be there in a few" Josh says as I walk up the stairs. I take his directions and find our luggage in the bedroom I call my mom and tell her I arrived safely.
