Joshua's POV
I know for a fact Colleen likes me. I just have to get her to admit it. I think I have a way to. I walk up to Colleen who is making us dinner. I wrap my arms around her torso. "Joshua. We aren't dating." she says calmly. "give me three reasons." I challenge her but not letting go of her. "one, two, three." she jokes. "haha you're funny. But seriously." I say. I let go of her and she turns to face me. "look.." I cut her off by kissing her deeply. She moans a little kissing me back. I know she's getting turned but honestly I am too. We continue making out until we make our way to the bedroom, and the rest is history.
Colleen's POV
Honestly last night was one of the best nights of my life. It was amazing. But now what am I going to do about Josh. We've done about all that a married couple does. I can't tell him I'm not ready anymore. But I do want to be with him, I know for sure now. I have zero doubts. It's noon and Josh and I are getting some Taco-Bell. Without warning him I grab his hand and squeeze it. I feel him look at me and smile. I don't take my eyes off the road. He looks back at the road but grabbing my hand tighter. I smile a bit hoping he doesn't notice. He stops the car and runs in Taco-Bell because the line up for the drive threw is to long. He comes back with both of our orders and hands me mine. "up for a picnic?" he says. I smile and nod like a four year old that's getting ice cream. He drives us out far to the top of a mountain. He goes in his trunk and pulls out a blanket. "where did that come from?" I say. "oh I always keep a spare blanket and pillow just incase." he replies. "okay" I say sounding a little confused. He sets the blanket down and we both sit and eat our Tacos. He keeps staring at me which is making my uncomfortable. "why do you keep looking at me and not that" I say and pointing to the gorgeous hill top. "I rather stare at this beautiful view then that one." he says talking about me. "well I don't think watching me stuff my face with tacos is a turn on." I say laughing. He giggles, "you have no idea." he says. I couldn't really tell if that was a joke or not. We laugh for a couple minutes until we get serious. "Colleen." Josh says. I turn my full attention to him. "what are we." he asks. I sigh. "look I know you don't feel comfortable talking about this right now considering what happened.." he trails off talking about last night. "I just need an answer. I need to know because I want to be with you." he adds. He's too cute. "Joshua, I love you I really do, and I think I might be ready for a relationship." I finally say. His face lights up with joy. "so back to my question earlier, what are we?" he asks. I pause for a second getting this all through my mind. "we are.... usmazing." I say. I used to say that all the time. When I couldn't talk properly, instead of amazing I said usmazing. And now this simple little word means so much to me. It represents Joshua and I. We are usmazing.
