||4 months later||Colleen's POV
It's four months later and Josh is truly my best friend. He is always there for me, but that might be because he is my neighbour. But I've grown strong feelings for this boy but I won't let myself admit it. My job on the other hand, isn't doing well. Miranda has been getting less popular and people are unsubscribing. Which also means I'm not getting as much money which means I can't pay my bills anymore. I am kind of struggling a little. I am a month and a half late and I've got plenty of warnings. I haven't told Josh yet because I don't need him to stress for me or me being the cause of why he is stressed. The only person I've told about my money problem is my sister because she walked in on my crying and I explained to her everything. She promised not to tell a soul and I trust her. I'm getting worried about the issue but I got it under control.
Josh's POV
Something is up wit Colleen. She jumps everything I mention money. and tries to stay away from the subject I want to ask her but it's personal so I'm not sure. But me and her are good. We are like best friends but not in the friend zone, know what I mean? So I still have a chance but she says she's still not ready even though I know she is and won't tell me. I will respect her and wait till she comes up to me and tells me she is ready because I don't want to make her uncomfortable.
It's the next morning and Colleen comes knocking at my door. I put jeans on since I was shirt less and only wearing boxers. She's seen me shirtless meany times so I'm not shy or uncomfortable when I'm not wearing a shirt on when she's with me. I open my door and see her in tears. She reads my confused face and holds up a bright yellow paper. 'Eviction Notice' it reads. My jaw drops as she puts her head down. I wrap her in a loving hug and she accepts. She hugs me back tight. We stand there and I let her cry into my bare chest for a good 5 minutes. She finally lets go of me and I make her sit as I make her coffee. "Why?" I ask trying to read her face. "My Chanel's been going going down and I haven't been making enough money. I wanted to tell you but I didn't want to make it seem like I was asking for money when I wasn't so I just didn't say anything." She says fast and out of breath. I wrap my arms around her and embrace her. She needs this right now and I'm here for her.
