Colleen's POV
I hear a knock on my door and I know it's Josh. "Come on in!" I yell walking towards the door. He walks in and smiles at me. I smile back, "Hi" I say walking closer to him. I hug him awkwardly. "um hi Colleen! it's nice to properly meet you." he says as we release from the hug. "yes I know! but I feel like I've known you forever. Like in the not creepy way" I say laughing a bit. I invite him over for coffee to sit and talk in person. "Okay let's get to know each other let play 21 questions" he suggests. "alright but like simple or competition or sexual?" I say mumbling the last part. "let's do em all" he smirks. I nod and shyly smile. "What's most attractive in a partner?" he asks. I think a bit. "why" I ask sitting closer to the edge of the couch. "just answer the question Colleen Mae" he teases. "well if you really wanna know, I like when a guy could treat a woman right, darker clothes and hair and a big heart." I get to into it and end up just staring at him. "um Colleen it's you're turn." he says waving his hand over my face snapping me out of it. "oh ya sorry um what's your biggest turn on?" I say surprising myself because of what I just asked him. Why the fuck did I just do that, what did I just do to myself. "when a girl is confident in herself." he answers confidently. Damn. I smile and nod.
After a few more rounds we finish the game and I get up to make dinner. We really got to know each other in a different way, if you know what I mean. We are both still virgins and want to save till marriage. We've already opened a bottle of champagne and now I'm making dinner for the both of us. I'm making salmon with asparagus and kale, because he loves all those things.
We finish eating and he loved it, "thank you so much Colleen. That was amazing." "No problem! I love cooking." I say bringing our plates to the sink. "well I should probably get back" Josh says opening his arms. I hug him and wrap my arms around his stomach. I breathe in his chest and his cologne smells so good. We release the hug and our faces are inches apart. he's looking at my lips as I am looking at his. "um ya I should probably unpack some more." I interrupt the moment we just had and back up a little. He nods and walks out awkwardly. I close the door behind him and sigh. What just happened.
