QUACK! QUACK! QUA--I slammed my hand on my phone. "Wake up. Don't be late. Get good grades. Good luck. Hope you survive," my sister's voice immediately went through my door as if she was waiting for my alarm. Was she?

I loath this day. I knew that it would come. I don't want to meet new people. New classes. New things. Making friends is a problem.

QUA--I nearly smashed my phone.

My bedroom door swung open, revealing my sister's face, "Oh yeah, and don't get in trouble," she eyed me suspiciously then slammed the door shut.

I roll out of bed, totally doomed because I have no idea what to wear. Yay.

I look at the clock. It's 7:33. School starts at 8:00. Ugh, I woke up too early. Currently, I'm eating my breakfast. The one and only, Cheerios. "Hey," my sister interrupts me and my weird thoughts. "Do you want me to drop you off?"

I shrug cluelessly, "I dunno if you want." I already have my driver's license by the way, but we own a sucky car that looks like a drug dealer's store.

"Well, parking for students is expensive, and I'm not paying fifty bucks for a crappy car," my sister poured some Cheerios in her bowl. "Feed the fish."

I glance at the fish tank next to our dining table. Felicia is the fish's name. Leandra gave Felicia to me for my ninth birthday.

I miss her.
