(A/N: Sorry, I mean no offense to Chinese people. They're awesome. My great great grandmother I think is Chinese, so yeah. I hope you don't misunderstand Luna's sarcasm.)

I'm in science. The teacher gave us assigned seats. Levi sits at my table. He sits across from me. And this Chinese girl sits next to me. She talks with a really weird accent. A guy with brown hair, that seems to be clinging onto his head for dear life, and amber eyes sits next to Levi. Ben. I think that's his name. I remember.

"Okay!" our science teacher took giant strides into the classroom. "I am Mr. Ree. You can call me Mr. R, too if you want." He started talking about the rules in his classroom.

Someone kicked me from under the table. I look up, thinking it's Levi. No, his eyes are fixed on Mr. Ree. Then I look to Ben. He's staring at me. His eyes move to the sticky note that was near my pencil. I picked it up.

Luna? The note said in slightly messy handwriting.

How'd you know my name? I passed the note back to him.

Levi.

Oh.

I remember you.

"There shall be no passing notes," the teacher eyed Ben and me.

Ben immediately grabbed the note, crumpled it up, and shoved it in his pocket.

Ignoring the teacher's rules, I got a sticky note from my backpack. I passed the note under the table to Ben.

How? I wrote. That was a stupid question.

Ben passed the note back. I've got a brain ya know, Miss Obvious. Just kidding. You still have the same shoes when we first ran into each other....literally.

I smiled. Amused. Yeah, they were too big back then.

You have a nice smile, Ben drew a smiley face. You should do it more often.

Ha. Thanks. I could feel myself blushing.

Ben grinned.

Later on in science, I got paired up with Levi to work on a project. When the teacher called out our names together, I saw Ben have a disappointed look on his face. Well, maybe he was sad because he wanted to be partners with Levi. Right?

Ugh. I can't believe Mr. R gave us a project in the first day. I have to go to Levi's house to work on the project. Which will probably be....strange.

It's lunch now. I'm trying to find Katherine above the swarm of people. Instead, Levi catches my eye. "Hey," he smiles politely as he walks towards me.

"Hi," I felt the corners of my mouth tug up, involuntarily.

"So, when are ya gonna come over to my house for the science project?" he asked.

"I dunno," I shrug, trying to think of a day and time.

"How about..." Levi trailed off. "Tomorrow? At like, four or something." He pulled out his phone, "Can I get your number?"

"Yeah," I nod, and I take out my phone too, to take his number.

After we exchanged numbers, I left to find Katherine.
