I look in the mirror,

And I see a girl.

I look in the mirror,

Not believing this is me.

I look in the mirror,

Staring at the dark circles under the girl's tired eyes.

I look in the mirror,

At the girl's uncombed hair.

I look in the mirror,

Seeing a cut on the girl's cheekbone.

I look in the mirror,

And raise a hand to the girl's face.

The girl is me.

What a disgrace.
