When i finally regained consciousness I found myself back in the Quarters of our hideout. Both arms were in makeshift slings and had been reset probably when I was out cold. My armor was completely off and it laid on a table across the room. Both daggers lay beside it and Silverscale was by the door leading into the corridor. I continued to look around and saw that my ribs had also been mended  and a stomach wrap was tightly put in place.

"Man, I must have gotten my ass kicked" I groaned as i laid back down in the bed.

"Yes you did, and you're lucky I came when i did or you'd be dead" came a very familiar melancholic tone. Tiger Fang was leaning in the doorway, her armor was also off and was probably somewhere in her quarters. She had stitches going across her cheek and her left arm was also in a sling.

"Looks like we both ran into trouble, did you get the message out?" I asked hoping the answer would be a good one.

"Yes I did, but we are not going back to earth. When i came to get you i had set the shuttle to automatically leave within the hour. When i found out how bad off you were, i knew if we left on that shuttle you would die as we tried to get through the atmosphere, the pressure would have killed you." She said quietly and she came and sat on the edge of my bed.

"Well, isn't there another shuttle that we could escape on?" I asked panicking a little bit.

"No, that was the only one i could find" Tiger Fang cooed lightly stroking my hair .

"What do we do, I mean they'll find us before we are even healed. I don't think i could bare seeing you die and me not being able to do anything about it." I murmured frustrated with myself.

"Killing those four commanders threw the entire population into disarray. They are competing to find new commanders and they are killing each other for it. It's going to be awhile before they even try to come looking for us." Tiger Fang comforted "Until then we just have to keep doing what we have been doing. Stay hidden, cripple their movements, and just live while we can. I'm thinking once we get this place impregnable we could have a small family. Train them so when we do go they can carry on what we have started and by then hopefully earth will send rescue parties to get them or all of us out of here" she smiled as she kissed my forehead lightly.

"Sometimes I swear you're crazier than i am" I chuckled as i smiled up at her. "If you think its possible to do all that, then I guess I'm with you."

"Good, cause, I don't think I could do it without you" Tiger Fang cooed as she slipped into bed and snuggled against me lightly trying not to hurt me.

The months passed and we both healed rather quickly. I ended up finding out that Tiger Fang had been healed up the entire time because she can regenerate. So from what I learned she did it so i didn't feel like such a burden. We fortified the hideout and maintained all the perimeter weapons. This place didn't look so abandoned now, every hour or so we could here Raknash armies clash. We had literally thrown them into a huge civil war, and we hoped it would ravage them for a few years. We repaired our armor and got back into peak physical condition. I had grown very fond of Tiger Fang, and I think I even fell in love with her.

She had saved me on many occasions, and I had saved her once or twice. Together I knew no one could beat us, we were like two components that as soon as they came together they became indestructible. But still we trained so that we didn't rely on each other too much. So if one of us were to die the other could carry on. The civil war continued day and night, no attacks ever came on us and we started thinking they had forgotten all about us. Tiger Fang ended up getting pregnant and that didn't come as a surprise to either of us. I had always wanted a child of my own, to pass on my knowledge and skills to. Tiger Fang had wanted the same thing a child to pass on her own skills and genetic mutation to.

So it pretty much worked hand in hand for us. Nine months passed by, some days were better than others Tiger Fang had started getting mood swings and she started getting a belly. Still we slept in the same bed every night and on that day when the baby was born. I couldn't have asked for anything more, a baby boy. To him he was a gift from god, and Tiger Fang felt the same. We settled on the name Ajax, we already knew he was going to be a warrior and he could regenerate as fast as his mother could. All those little kid accidents went away fast then either one of us could blink. When the boy turned four we started training him. At first with hand to hand combat and Tiger Fang taught him stealth and sabotage. The civil war was in full swing by now and battles sometimes came very close to our new home. But Ajax was never afraid, and neither were we. We continued training him, when he was seven i gave him his own sword to use along with daggers. I had scavenged these off of my friend back in Backrendor. It had been a risky endeavor but i got in and out.

He was a natural at everything we taught him, and on some occasions we took him with us on missions to cripple supplies or cause tension to keep the civil war going. We split it up some missions Tiger Fang would take him and test his skills in what she did. Some missions i would take him and test him with what i knew. By the age of twelve he was a fully trained machine. We threw surprise training missions where he had to face and defeat his mother and I and soon we couldn't beat him at all. He was going to go onto be great things. He would make the most legendary soldier of them all, and i was glad he was mine. Tiger Fang and I were aging, we were in our mid forties now. But we still kept up with the missions and prodded the war on. Hoping that one day, earth would send a rescue party or another invasion force to get us the hell out of here so we could go back home.
