After I had finally stopped screaming Cal spoke again.
"So you see sweetheart, thats why you got into my group so easily. Jack had all ready let you in!" He stroked my face gently, yet I pushed him off. That as a bad move, anger flashed through his eyes again. He got the guard behind me to roughly pin my arms behind my back as he faced me. Clearly I had lost my rights not to be bound again...
Cal took my face in his hands, licking up the side of my face. "You belong to me bitch" he spat. Blue orbs glinting with twisted delight.
"No, she fucking doesn't belong to you." Ben spoke up. I rarely ever heard him swear in front of me, so for him to act like this, he was really pissed. The guard continued to hold me back, Frank snickering behind me as Cal walked over to Ben.
"Oh yeah little hero, who does she belong to then?"
"Me." With that he spat in Cals face. Everything moved to quickly after that. I vaguely remember Frank knocking me to the ground unconscious, I couldn't of been out for more than a few seconds but when I woke up, the two guards that had been holding me and Ben were gone. Ben had been tied around the tree arms spread wide either side of him to be able to wrap around the large tree. The left side of his face was slightly raised, red and a slow trickle of blood was making its way down his nose. His head hung limply, signaling he was unconscious. His second pair of glasses lying smashed on the floor below him.
It didn't take me long to figure out the guards were no longer needed and that Ben had most likely been punched by Cal. The two young adults were facing away from me, concentrating on their victim, giving me a few precious moments to pull myself up from the floor... yet again. The bliss didn't last very long.. as by the time I had crawled onto my knees attempting to support myself, the men had noticed my presence.
Frank was the first to speak this time. "So, he thinks he owns you? Well it's pretty clear the feelings are one sided, or are you just trying to hurt him?" He snickered, mimicking Bens pained face from earlier... Cal shot him a glare which made him shut up.
"Frank your missing the bigger picture. It's like getting two for the price of one. We only have to touch one of them to make the other practically beg for death." He chuckled fairly pleased with himself.
"Listen Cal, I only promised you one life, not two." I spoke up.
When he looked at me this time there was pity in his eyes. "You see, you never specified who's life you were giving us, so I automatically thought you were letting us choose. Quite frankly I want Ben, and well after that, I suppose you will have already lost the will to live. It's like taking your brother all over again." A prominent twitch shook his head as cackles escaped past his lips nodding to Frank who started to approach the limp Ben.
Pulling myself back off the floor, I started to run at him, but Cal just pulled me back letting me scream instead. "NO, NO I WANTED YOU TO TAKE ME, DON'T TOUCH HIM!" Frank stopped just in front of him to laugh at my pathetic attempts to get away.
"Hey Cal? Just cut her leg this time, stop her from running." I felt sick to the stomach as Frank reminded me of old wounds, my hand went instinctively to cuts where the stitches held together torn skin.
"No... I've got a better idea..."
I stood petrified as he pulled Katará the dagger out of his pocket. The blade was still as beautiful as I remembered it, but still as lethal. I realized my mistake to late and Cal knocked me to the floor. Frank came over to help him pin me down. I tried to struggle as much as possible as the blade made contact with my skin.
My cry's were filled with the pain from my leg, but also self pity. Previously, wound on my leg had been the least painful to heal but was taking the longest, so for it to be cut open again, I couldn't take it. The thought of having scars on my body as a permanent reminder of this sociopath, was sickening.
