Cazypup: Alright. TIME FOR SOME RESEARCH
xAlienConfirmed: Yes People have claimed to see ghost soldiers and even ghost wars around the Gettysburg area
Ivvy_E_Grace: Sachs Covered Bridge seems to be one of the most haunted spots
Cazypup: My friend has actually encountered some of the haunting. She said while staying the night at Gettysburg things started flying everywhere and that she even saw a figure by the window.
Ivvy_E_Grace: That's interesting. Things flying around the room isn't something you can easily fake.
xAlienConfirmed: :o and The Soldiers Orphanage cellar is haunted and so scary that physics are even afraid to enter
Ivvy_E_Grace: I could imagine there being a lot of spirits there
xAlienConfirmed: Me too And The Herr Tavern was built in 1815, but during the battle it was used as the first Confederate hospital at Gettysburg, where amputations often resulted in limbs being thrown out through the window to be collected later, only for many of the soldiers to die afterward. As a result, four of the guest rooms are said to be haunted, and the rooms are numbered so that there is no room 13
Cazypup: I found a video of a sighting https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2StlW9XuA2g
xAlienConfirmed: People also saw Lincolns ghost
Ivvy_E_Grace: I'm searching pictures and I have to say, I don't see much. Though, any real accounts may not have pictures form it
xAlienConfirmed: Yeah it's really hard to see actual sightings and not cgi stuff This search so far is going downhill
Ivvy_E_Grace: Do we know what road that is? If that footage is authentic, we could research why they seem to be crossing it
Cazypup: I found another video where someone's poncho seems to be moving back and forth http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KMHTeFZMyek
Ivvy_E_Grace: Interesting
Cazypup: Here's another one with the ghost actually using a cigarette and moving it http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uad7KW2e4UE
xAlienConfirmed: Interesting indeed
Cazypup: It seems like videos are what show the most evidence A lot of rumors say that Devil's Den gun shots and drums can be heard at times. The ghost don't really show up but they do move things and make noise
Ivvy_E_Grace: Sounds truthful enough. What is she doing threatening a ghost though. I mean, seriously
xAlienConfirmed: She was threatening a ghost?! XD
Cazypup: Kinda
xAlienConfirmed: WTFH XD
Ivvy_E_Grace: She's like, if you don't move the cigarette I'm not gonna bring you anymore
xAlienConfirmed: Oh my
Cazypup: There's no chill I just remembered when y brother went to Gettysburg he said that it felt like someone was watching him and he swears that he heard some odd noises
xAlienConfirmed: :o
Ivvy_E_Grace: Could be very true
xAlienConfirmed: Did you go to Gettysburg as well?
Cazypup: Nope!
xAlienConfirmed: Awwe
Ivvy_E_Grace: I'd like to go there
Cazypup: So have you guys gotten to any conclusions about Gettysburg?
Ivvy_E_Grace: http://m.youtu.be/kRGkdHyw7TM
xAlienConfirmed: I have zero idea
Ivvy_E_Grace: I think there's ghosts there I mean, something so horrific like the civil war, there's got to be traces of it left behind
xAlienConfirmed: Ohh I think so as well! Especially the amounts of deaths there were in the bloody war
Cazypup: 100% sure it's haunted. Based on the fact that many have seen and heard actual sightings of ghost. These videos seem to be legit and the fact that there's barely any pictures shows that it's very much true.
Ivvy_E_Grace: Agreed
xAlienConfirmed: I also agree! ^o^
Ivvy_E_Grace: I mean you have to be careful with photographic evidence because, seriously, what are the chances that you'll have a camera at the ready when you see something
xAlienConfirmed: That's very true
Cazypup: Thats why I don't really trust pictures
Ivvy_E_Grace: Same
xAlienConfirmed: P much
Conclusion: For something like the civil war to have happened, there's going to be something leftover. So, yes. There does seem to be at least some trace of ghost and spirits of soldiers in the area.

Ivvy_E_Grace: The road in the first video is Wheatfield Rd. I did a bit of research on the history around that road and found that there was a battle around a farm for a rose farm and a wheat field where current day Wheatfield Rd is.
The fighting kinda 'exploded' on July 2, 1863 at Devil's Den. The wheat field changed hands six times during the fight. Long story short, the 17th Maine and the Georgians quickly changed to hand to hand combat and it was very bloody. It ended with the fields in Confederate hands. 6,000 men were lost, Union and Confederate. And though, it's not one of the most well known battles, it was probably one of the most gruesome.
