Enids pov

"welcome to Alexandria"

i havent a home in so long and this, this is incredible, i havent seen anywhere so big.

The massive gate opened and i looked at daryl who was laughing at how shocked i was.

"this... is... just woahhh" i laughed and tryed to walk and almost fell over again.

carl rushed to me, and grabbed my arms.

"Alright?" he said ever so softly.

i just nodded not taking my eyes off the community,

i pulled off carl and then started walking in. there was a man with a gun pointed at me,

"Whos the midget?"

cheeky asshole.

"What did you just call me?" i walked up to him so i was literally inches away from him.

"id watch your mouth you stuck up prick" i said harshly.

Who does he think he is?

Carl came in followed by rick and daryl.

"put your gun down, posh boy" daryl smacked him gun down.

i laughed then 2 women and another boy my age came over,

"alright ron?" Carl said to the boy.

he looked at me and bite his lip.

ummmm okayyy? can i help youuuu

"yeah" he said, not keeping his eyes off me, i smiled a little then looked at my feet.

carl looked at ron and then at me,

"Enid we'll find somewhere for you to stay" rick suggested

"but i dunno whos gunna take in a new be" he added.

"we will" a women with short brown hair spoke up, she walked to me and smiled.

"im maggie, and you are?"

i smiled at her and looked at rick who, smiled as if he was telling me to go on.

"enid"

I put my head down,

"me and my husband have a house and two spare room, you can have one and the others for this one" she smiled while rubbing her belly,

"wait your pregnant?!" i snapped.

"uh -" i cut her off.

"sorry its just bringing a baby here doesnt it seem a bit like cruel?" i put mt head down

"sorry" i added.

"its alright sweetie, and we ddint mean to " i looked up in shock,

"oops" i laughed,

after a while of talking to maggie i said yes to sharing a house with her, we walked down the street, that had perfectly furbished houses and quite a lot of people. i saw a few people my age which was nice. Me and Maggie talked about Glenn her husband.

We finally got to her house and she walked in then motioned for me to join her.
The house was pure white outside and inside was beautiful and so clean.
"This is your house?" My mouth widened.
"It's our house actually" a mans voice said coming from the top of the stairs.
He walked down and kissed Maggie.
"Umm?" Maggied smiled at him.
"This is Enid, she's new and needed somewhere to live so I said here" she kissed his cheek.
And he put his hand out for me to shake.
"I'm Glenn"
He smiled.
"Hey, thanks for all this"
"It's alright" maggie replied.
"I hate to be rude but does this place have a working shower?" They both laughed.
"No ours is being fixed but I'll ask Rick if you can borrow there's, they live next door" Glenn told me.
"Thanks" I whispered.
We walked next door and maggie walked off to talk to a woman called Diana she owns Alexandria.
Me and glenn walked to the door only to be greeted by Carl holding a baby.
I looked at him in shock and then rolled my eyes and looked at my feet as I do when I get annoying emotions.
"Hey Glenn and Enid need anything?"
He asked.
"Our shower still isn't working can enid borrow yours ?"
Then Rick walked to us.
"Yeah come in" then the baby began to cry so Carl walked upstairs and put her to sleep.
Rick and Glenn started talking and upstairs was a women with a sword, she walked to me.
"I'm guessing your Enid?" She smiled.
Everyone here are always smiling.
"Uh yeah how do-" I was cut off by Carl.
"I filled her in" he spoke fast and quiet.
"Enid I'll take you to the shower " he held me by my waist and helped me up the stairs.
"Thank youuu" we laughed as he let go of my waist.
Then he walked into the bathroom and passed me 2 towels.
"Put your stuff in my room is the one on the left with the comic books on the bed" he laughed.
"I love comics too btw" I added
"And thanks"
"take as long as you want" he walked down the stairs and I got I the bathroom and got undressed, I took my hair down form the messy bun and my hair was curly, as usual the I turned the shower on and made sure it was hot.
I jumped in and felt the most beautiful feeling I ever had, it was amazing. Finally showering. I ignored the dirt and blood beneath my feet.
" oh my god" I whispered to myself.
It took me ages to pull myself out of the shower because of the amazing feeling, but once I did o loved the feeling of my skin being so clean and smelling nice.
I could feel the water dripping from my really long hair down my back. I want to cut my hair I wonder if anyone could do that.
I wrap myself in my towel and walk to Carl's room where someone had laid out some clothes for me with a note.
Enid,
You don't know me yet but I'm Bec and I'm your age, these are some clothes I found and didn't want. I know it's not much but everything helps right. If you ever need to talk I'm the blonde girl always with a boy called Ben, ask Carl about me.

Awh that's so kind of her, I stood there I my towel and someone knocked the door,
"Enid will you pass me the wolf fight comic off my bed please" I didn't answer but walked to his bed.
I didn't answer so her opened the door.
"Here" i smiled and gave him the comic.
" sorry " he put his hand over his eye .
I laughed.
"Really, don't worry about it, atleast il not naked" I laughed and he was smiling at me.
He left the room and I shut and Locked the door. Maybe this time no one will come in.
I picked the clothes up and dropped my towel, there was ripped Jean, a vest, hoodie and boots. So I put them on grabbed my knife and put it in the holster.
Then I greated everyone and we talked for hours with out stop, I began to get tired and headed to bed, before I knew it I was in a deep sleep.
