Chapter 5

Enid's dream
Someone grabbed me and slammed be against a wall.
"Get off me!!"
I was screaming and couldn't see his face
I screamed.
He turned me around and put his hand over my mouth.
I was panicking so much I couldn't breath.
He let go and put his finger over my mouth motioning me to be quiet.
I nodded and he let me go.
"HELP!!" He pulled me back then slammed my back straight against door and shouted in my face.
"NO ONE WILL HEAR YOU!!"
He pushed himself right up against me and starting kissing my neck then I hit him and he fell back onto the floor and I tried opening the door but it was locked.
"Enid, you shouldn't of done that"
He said so calmly and before I turned around he shot me and I Collapsed to the floor.
*end of dream*

I woke up out of breath. I started crying and screaming then Maggie rushed into my room.
"Enid!"
She shouted then started hugging me, I curled up in a ball on her lap and she was rocking me like a child.
"shh, shh it's okay"
"Diana came over and told me what happened" I pulled off her and looked at her with my red tearful eyes.
"Di-did she-"
I started crying more.
"Tell me about Ron, yes she did" she pull me back into the hug.
"I'm always here for you" she whispered.
I think i had only been asleep for around an hour or two.
"Coffee?" She said and I pulled out of he hug.
We both walked down stairs and Glenn was sat on the sofa.
"Did I wake you up" I sniffled.
He nodded and got up and hugged me.
"I'm gunna kill Ron"
Maggie spoke up.
"Your not killing someone who's like half your age Glenn"
I laughed a little.
I looked out the window and saw Carl on his porch.
His dad was made to sleep in a cell for the night, well atleast until Diana said otherwise.
"I'm going to see Carl"
I smiled.
"Okay be careful"
I walked out the house in my shorts and Carl's hoodie.
"Why are you awake?" I tried to hide the fact I was crying.
"Enid?" He smiled.
"What's wrong? Why have you been crying?" He could see right through me.
I tired to hold it in but a tears fell from my eye, he run up to me and hugged me.
"I had a dream about it" i cried into his neck.
"Wanna talk about it?" He pulled me off him and I shock my head. He held my hand and we walked over the seat on his porch and we sat next to eachother and I started to shiver.
"Come here" he pulled me next to him and put his arm around me and I cuddled up to his side.
We sat there for a while talking and telling each other's stories and jokes.
The time must if flew by and before we knew it the sun started to rise.
"Did you know that around 3 maybe 4 years ago my dad got shot and went into a coma?" Rick got shot? At the start of the apocalypse.
"What really?!" I yawned again and cuddled up closer to him.

"carl look!" I pointed "the suns coming up" i said then stretched.

he looked at me and smiled.

"wanna come in, its just me, Carol has judi and dads well... you know, you can fall asleep if you want to" i smiled back.

"only for an hour to have a nap?" he laughed.

"alright" he got up and stretched then i laid back.

"ughhhh" i Whinned.

He turned around and bent down a little.

"Jump on?" i laughed and got up and jumped onto his back.

"wow" he chuckled.

"im heavy" i said in a sad voice.

he practically shouts at me.

"liar!!" we both laugh.

"shhh, people are sleeping silly" i slap his shoulder.

we get into the house and he locks the door.

"okay you can put me down now!" i giggled.

"No, still arent upstairs"

he laughed. and started walking up the stairs pretending to fall and making me panic.

"dont do that" i laughed.

we get to his room and he throws me on his bed.

"owww!" i joke.

"sowwwyyy" he said while making a pouting face.

i smiled and get under the sheet of his double bed. he grabs a pillow and puts it on the floor.

"carl?" i say with a tired voice and closed eyes, i hear him get up and sit on the bed.

"yes?" his voice was soft and quiet.

"sleep here with me" i say not realizing it, then i grab his arm and move the pillows over and he lays down and i cuddled up to his chest.

"only an...hour" i yawn and daze off only to slightly here him say.

"goodnight enid" then he wrapped his arms around my sides.

i slowly fall asleep.

Carls pov

She pulls me down and then she lies close to me, her head on my chest.

i looked down at her beautiful face, i know shes the only girl ive connected with but I think i like her, it's early but She's just so perfect and special to me.

she whispers and yawns at the same time.

"only an...hour" i smile and watch her fall asleep,

"goodnight enid" i mutter soothingly.

i smile at how gorgeous she was, and i wrap my arms around her sides. i bring myself nearer her, felling her warmth, and i slowly drift to sleep.
