Chapter 7

"Aghhhhhh"
I grabbed Carl's hand and squeezed it to re-assure him.
I gave him a faint smile. And he looked at his dad for permission to go. Rick nodded and said,
"Be carful" then he ran off leaving me, Beca, Nate and Carl.
"Let's split up" Nate suggested.
" okay I'll go with Nate" I smiled although I wanted to go with Carl but Beca doesn't really like Nate.
"Uh you sure?" Carl asked me.
"Yeah, just make sure you'll be okay" I smiled.
Then we all ran in our separate ways.
I turned around and looked at Carl, he stopped shouted.
"Look after her Nate!!"
Nate looked at me and held my hand,
"I will don't worry about it" he shouted back. I pulled my cross bow off my back. And aimed I noticed daryl running with Abraham,
"Wolves" he said panting.
"Who?" I said.
"They're not good don't hesitate just kill!" He said and than hugged me and ran off.
"Let's go Enid"
I smiled and saw a man about to stab Ron so I shot him with my cross bow.
"Good shot!"
"Thanks" I giggled.

*a few hours later*
Me and Nate had been fighting side by side, we made a good team. After all the fighting we all gathered outside and we met back up with everyone.
"Carl?" I looked around for him then I felt a pair of hands turn me around.
It was Carl. He hugged me sort of picking me up at little. Then he quickly pulled away and checked me for bites and wounds.
"I'm fine" I say then hug him again.
" Awh good!!" He said ever so softly.
"I'm so happy your okay" I whimpered.
"Come over tonight?" He whispered into my ear.
I smiled and nodded and then walked over to Maggie.
"Oh thank god your okay!?" She says while squeezing me.
I pulled her close.
"I'm always okay!" I joked.
"Are you okay?" I asked he while pulling away.
"I'm really good now, I haven't seen Glenn yet"
I turn around looking for him.
I squint and point
"there!" I shouted and Maggie shouted.
"GLENN" she screamed.
they hugged and then kiss. they were amazing to me, they weren't just my inspiration because of keeping a relationship there, they were also my parent figures.

Rick and Diana took charger and stood on a porch talking about the wolves, what they wanted and how we came together and fought together no one really seemed bother they all just went back to their everyday lives after that.
I walked over to Carl.
"Mind if I come over and have a shower?" I asked and laughed.
"Of course then fancy staying over for a while?" I looked confused, was he asking me out or asking to hang out to different things.
"Uh- ye- yeah okay" I stutter. Why does he make me so nervous it's as if he takes my breath away, he distracts me in so many ways, he has a perfect body, long hair and his eye. Oh his eyes are just gorgeous.
Shut up Enid you've know him for not even a week!

"Wanna come over now?" He asked.
Speak! Uh he makes me so nervous. Stop Enid no feelings!
"Uh I've got to get my shorts and find a to-" he cut me off.
" you can have another of mine if you want, I have loads of old one" I smiled and he looked at my eyes and then at my lips back to my eyes.
"Uh okay thanks I'll be over in a bit"
I ran home and talked to Maggie for a hour and then I said
"Oh I have to go to Carl's" they both looked at me and started going.
"Love is in the air, do do do do do"
"Shut up!!!" I threw a pillow at them
"I love young love!!" Maggie mocked me.
"Ugh I'm going now, dunno when I'll be back" I rolled my eyes.
"Okay be safe!" Glenn shouted.
"Byeeeee!!!!" I left the house and walked over to Carl's with my shorts and shower Stuff in my bag.
I knocked on the door.
"Oh hey Enid, Carl said you wanted a shower and he also said you guys were hanging out"
He was whispering while holding a sleeping baby Judith.
"Awhhh" I whispered.
He smiled then I took off my shoes and walked upstairs I opened Carl's door and he was asleep on the bed half under his quilt so i put down my bag and pulled the blanket over him and pushed his hair out of his face.
He so cute.

"Sweet dreams" I whispered to him.
I walked into the bathroom that connects with his room and I pull off all my clothes, they were covered in blood from earlier.
I turn on the shower and jump in:
It still amazes me how they have showers. I'm so happy I've found them.
I heard someone walk in the shower glass was streamed up so luckily they couldn't see me and I couldn't see them.
"Ah!" I screamed.
"Enid!" Carl said then jumped.
We both burst into laughter.
I was so glad he couldn't see me.
"Past me that towel" i put my hand out of the shower and point at a small towel that I could wrap around my body.
I jumped out of the shower and Carl stood there staring.
"Carl" I waved my head in face.
"Uh sorry, I'll uh go" he put his hands in front of his eyes.
"Aha wait can I have a top" he goes into his room and throws me another hoodie.
"Thanks" I sung then giggled.
He left the room and I towel dried my hair. My hair is long, curly and dark brown and put on the clothes I had,
I walked back into the room and he was sat on his bed.
I ran and jumped on to the bed and laid with my front facing the roof.
He laid back and we turned out heads to each other.
"You okay?" I asked he looked motionless then sat up.
I sat up and said.
"Carl? What's wrong" he turned to me and before I knew it his lips locked onto mine. We moved in sync his hands were on my side moving down and I put one of mine on his cheek the other holding myself up.
This kiss felt as if everything changed and I feel as if he's my one.
I pulled away and so did he.
I out my head down and giggle my cheeks were rosy red.
"Uh aha, sorry" he said this whole laughing.
I kissed him again to shut him up.
"Oh" he said and pulled away, his cheeks went red and he laid back in his bed and I cuddled up to him.
We both enjoyed the silence while I slowly fell asleep in his arms.
