There was a ship that crashed on an island off the coasts of England's ports. The ship held 27 college students their destination was to Spain for a simple trip of knowledge. But mother nature interrupted their trip causing a horrendous crash. There was two students of most important Circu and Avandth. Circu a pale haired young man with dark as night eyes, Avandth a dark haired young man with scars all along his body. The two were very close looking to become alchemists together. It is the reason they were most excited to arrive in Spain new herbs, and other such materials.
It was upon dawn when Circu awoken a pain throbbed in his head as he sat up vision blurry and disoriented. His first thought was where is he? He looked around once his vision became clear once again. A jungle thick and dangerous laid in front of him behind him was the vast ocean with the wooden remains of the ship that once was whole. Once he got the general idea of his location another question came to mind, where is Avandth? His dearest friend is nowhere to be seen it's only him and the mystery of the location.
Avandth has been wandering around for who knows how long time is lost in this jungle. How many hours has it been that he's been searching for Circu or searching for anyone in general? He can't help but feel a hopeless loss in him but he knows he must remain strong. Though he's beginning to get hungry but he fears to eat anything here he has vast knowledge in herbs and such but only herbs in England not this mysterious jungle he finds himself in. To his luck he manages to recognize one edible source of food but its scarce. He knows Circu has much more knowledge he doesn't mean to be so dependant on his friend but it's his only hope at the only moment he doesn't trust any other of the men who crashed with him.
Night was falling soon Circu knew he did not want to be alone in the darkness that will seep in the jungle he walks through. He quickened his pace bushes and stick scratching and brushing his ankles. It wasn't long before he has scratches on his ankles faintly bleeding. Time silently passes with no knowledge of how long he struggles through the jungle all until he hears a faint movement not far from where he stands it makes him stop in his track. With faint breath he pants trying to quiet such pants to hear the movement with more focus. It was silent for a moment until he heard the movement again. A human more specifically Avandth? Hope fills his heart and he rushes to the location of the movement.
Avandth was moving slowly tired exhausted his body aching in places of movement. He heard something coming at him he went rigid. A animal? Another human? Was he to flee or stay? Thoughts, decisions raced through his mind. Only one thought remained when he saw the shimmering pale hair and night filled eyes. Circu.
It was Avandth. Circu did not stop when he saw him his legs kept moving until he had him embraced in his arms. He was safe they both were safe, he didn't know how long he held him in silence until Avandth forced himself away from his grip. He spoke then "YOu're alive. I expected so" He sounds cold not concerned in the least but he is. Circu knows Avandth hiding his emotions in his voice. "I soon to be a master will not die with such ease" circu responded his voice echoing Avandths. "But what of the others? have you seen anyone else? now that I have you back my thoughts go to them" Avandth says looking around. Circu notices he looks entirely exhausted. "lets not worry about them at the moment night is almost upon us and you desire rest" he say grabbing onto Avandth's shoulder firmly. He shakes Circu off his cold demire still up. "I'm no-" I interrupt him "you are and we will rest". The two found a tree large enough to fit the both safely and went to rest.
It was early in the morning when Avandth's eyes came to an opening. He looked around the sunlight shining through the trees and Circu nowhere to be seen. He felt his heart drop. It didn't take long for him to jump out of the tree. He ran searching for him but he did not search for long as he fell to the ground after ramming into something. Looking up that something is no other than circu. "Avandth be careful" he says holding his hand out to him in his other hand he holds the horns of some strange animal blood dripping down his pale arm. The contrast of red to white is striking. Avandth ignores the offered hand his eyes now focused on the dead animal. "what is that beast you hold?" he asks.
Circu's grip tightened on the horns of the animal. Upon Dawn he went out and was searching for mere berries or something simple but was attacked by this animal. he killed the animal with a sharp stone it was no easy task but he managed though not without injury. The animal's claws cut deep into his ribs the pain is searing but he does not want to worry dear Avandth so he only hopes Avandth does not notice only sees his blood as the animals blood. "food" is Circus only and small response to Avandths question. he nods in response to the answer. "we must make a fire to cook the meat from this animal" he suggests. the only reasonable thing to do.
The fire was not as hard as it is for most people. avandth has made such fires before in the past for entertainment or alchemy. such strange pastimes these two have. they managed with the sharp stone Circu had to cut the meat in pieces for a meal. in the fire Avandth then noticed something that he shockingly did not notice before. the flames illuminate the wound upon Circus ribs. "Circu..." a pause before Avandth spoke again "tell me what is that?" he pointed to the wound. Circu tensed and focused on the wound. "The animal managed to scratch me" he tried to make it seem not as bad as it was. Avandth knew that was a lie. a horrid lie. "liar" he merely said.
Silence filled the air Circu decided he did not want to answer. For the reason of not worrying avandth and his strength he knew was draining along with his blood he tried to cover. They finished eating and sat in silence still haunting them. it was a growing grim. the sun flies across the sky slowly wanting its way back to the void.
Avandth was the one to break the silence. "It's getting worse watching you I see your already pallor skin getting translucent". Circu looked at him finally breaking "I knew from the start this wound would most likely end me but I wanted to deny such a fate and did not want to worry you" he mumbled voice faint like a ghosts whisper. Avandth sounded colder than usual "to go that easily?". Circu's eyes closed as he responded "naturally". Such a strange yet connected friendship the two had.
Circu closed his eyes once the sun disappeared being replaced by the full rounded moon. He fell into a slumber he would never awaken from. Before Avandth left Circu's soulless shell he placed a kiss upon his forehead and whispered. "Farewell my friend we will meet once again very soon.".
