My parents told me to write everything down in a diary and boy there is a lot to write. Let's start off with my name, my name is Sophie I'm 17 years old and the last few years have been a living hell for me.

It all started when I got into an argument with my best friend her name is Samantha (Sam for short). It was over the smallest thing but she took it very wrong. Without me realising, she was turning everyone against me. She even made my boyfriend, Brad, break up with me. I loved him so much and I didn't understand why he ended it.

We'd been together for a year and I know, I know, I was young, 14 or so, but I never wanted to let him go. You know those weird things you go through after a break up where you don't do anything, you don't shower and stuff like that. I went through one of those but the only dofference was it took weeks to get over him.

I had lost all my friends and no one, not even my family, cared about me. I had nothing. I put all the blame on me and took the pain away all over my wrists and thighs.

School was torture, all the mean stares and the rude remarks. I had gained weight, a lot of weight in fact after the break up. I had gained 15 kg's. From looking like a stick to looking like a marshmallow. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror without breaking out crying. Life was just an obsticle and what was the point of living when no one cared and you had no friends.
